You might expect a reward for returning cash or bullion or some bearer instrument. Checks can easily be cancelled though. Check owner didn't really need it returned. Nice that folks did the honest thing, but expecting a reward for this is a bit gauche imo.

A check that size literally could not be cashed. It was nothing more than a piece of paper. Worthless, and no hazard to the company that was supposed to have it.

If the guy thought it through, he coulda sent it back with a humorous note like:

"Found this, and decided not to cash it. So if you are pleased with my honesty, can I have a job there? Or maybe a motor scooter?"

As a Honda & Toyota owner I fear that those two brands are quickly becoming the new Ford & GM. Some of the new stuff that they have been putting out makes you go especially with the Japanese stuff slapped together in Mexican border factories.

I literally just finished Scotty's latest vid published ten minutes ago and he agrees as his son's $47,000 Sienna has a broken seat, sat in only by a 60# 5 year old. The dealer wants $800+ to fix even though it should be under warranty.(the dealer (stealership) is not owned by Toyota, but the parts qualities are dropping. Melting plastic, broken springs etc.

You are spot on, there OGD. I bought a new Camry, and the battery died. In a parking lot after I drove there to shop.

Found out on the net there is a simple fix to the massive problem (thousands of Toyotas over several years) and the fix is in circulation to all Toyota dealerships.

I drove up and told them I knew of the fix. It took them 45 minutes (it was a program change!)

So if you own a Toyota and your battery died, DYODD and look this phenomenon up on the Net. Then go to Toyota and tell them to fix it.
