That is what happens when you combine
ignorance innocence with a preset thinking position.
Those who have received chemotherapy and got better would not see the above argument as anything but Dark Age superstition moved to today.
Learn what chemotherapy is before shitting on it. To start with, IGNORANT people like that "doctor" do not realize (or admit) that because of hospitals and lawyer bean-counters, ALL doctors MUST become salaried employees of hospitals. Why? Because a doctor cannot prescribe a hospital's procedures (X-rays, CAT scans, etc. etc) UNLESS
that specific doctor is a salaried employee of
that hospital.
So the doctor does NOT get
one cent extra for prescribing chemotherapy in any form. The stated reason for prescribing it in the above misleading crapola is just "I hate the medical profession for (fill in any reason at all) and here is "proof" that doctors are only in it to make $4000.
Do NOT, whatever you do... don't look up actuarial tables and discover that because of those greedy doctors, life expectancy has changed a bit:
If you were born in 1900, you were UNLIKELY TO LIVE PAST 48 YEARS OF AGE.
Those born today can expect to live approximately TWICE as long.
And doctors had absolutely nothing to do with that. Nope, it was pure genetics -- Doctors did not prescribe diets, exercise, disease treatments, injury treatments and so on because those things would not help give people better lives. They never helped you or anyone you know. But they did take lots of your money.
Did I make my point? Nah. Let me be a tad more granular... Just in case
you get cancer, and have to decide whether to drop the ignorant anti-doctor stuff and
live, or save money and
die. Choose.
Watch out when quoting the statistics of others. TWENTY SECONDS of fact-checking would show you that the quotes are completely out of court. Take a dekko at reality -- do a search: "success rate of chemotherapy" then revisit that shithead's
97% skew.

C&P: Chemotherapy (ABVD regimen):
90% cure rates in early-stage cases, with
70-80% five-year survival in advanced stages (Connors et al., 2018).Sep 9, 2024

But muh greedy doctah gripe... But... Wait, there's more?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What is the chemotherapy success rate?
Based on the overall cohort, that included 905 chemotherapy-exposed vs 3390 chemotherapy-naïve patients, overall survival rates at 18 and 30 months were 76.3 vs 69.3% and 61.6 vs 54.3%, favoring chemotherapy-exposed patients ( Figure 1A ). *AHEM* NOT A MICROSCOPIC, USELESS, MONEYMAKING FAKE, 3%, Right?
RIGHT?

MOAR:
Traditional and high doses of chemotherapy are very effective at treating most cancers or, at the very least, keeping them from progressing. However, many people who develop cancer are older or become frail from the disease and end up experiencing short- and long-term side effects from treatment.
