From what I gathered reading X and listening to cable news, Israel is going to respond disproportionately. I would not be terribly surprised if a nuclear explosion happens in Iran before this escalation wanes. The neocons and Israeli leadership are finally getting what they wanted.

Not sure but I'm hearing Israel is sending messages into Iran saying regime change is coming. Almost like "liberation is at hand." No clue as to how true it is.

More than 100 missiles launched from Iran towards Israel, according to Israeli media

Airfields and military bases are reported to be the targets of the strike.

Sirens sound in all Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv, Ashdod, Haifa, Beersheba, West Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip.

Footage from social media.

Footage emerging indicates Iran has overwhelmed Israeli air defenses designed to down small numbers of slow, inaccurate rockets, occasional ballistic missiles, not scores of precision guided ballistic missiles.

The US, using Israel as a proxy and encouraging its client regime to expand aggression across the region, has brought this upon the people in Israel, not Iran.

Iran is responding to the increasingly unhinged, unchecked, indiscriminate regional violence Israel (with full US backing) was carrying out, threatening Iran and its allies.

Iran has demonstrated tremendous restraint up until now.

But because Israeli policy does not reflect national self-preservation, further escalation is likely until circles of power in Israel interested in self-preservation take over.

Footage shows Israeli air defenses active and successfully intercepting missiles, just not enough of them fast enough.

This is called saturation, it is different than defenses failing to intercept incoming targets or depletion in which there are no longer means of intercepting incoming targets.

The next phase of this conflict will be determined by Iran's ability to both sustain this type of attack, its allies' ability to exploit it, and Israel's hesitation or lack thereof to escalate up to and including nuclear weapons.

US intervention was always part of the plan when and if possible.

There are limits to US - Israeli military power, the question is, is Iran and its allies more limited?

Israel maintains a number of air defense systems, the Iron Dome, Arrow 3, David's Sling, Patriot - much of it prioritizes the large barrages militant organizations launch at Israeli territory, which are comprised of mostly inaccurate rockets, occasional precision guided missiles, and more recently small numbers of drones.

Ballistic missile interceptors are likely scarce, Israel facing the same problem as its Western sponsors, unable to defend against large barrages of precision guided weapons.

Again, their systems work, they simply don't have enough of them to significantly blunt the type of barrage Iran launched.

This aspect of the fighting comes down to how many missiles Iran has, how many it produces, vs ballistic missile interceptors Israel has/makes.

It would not surprise me if the USA and other israeli flunkies like the UK and French navy are involved...

Graham: Iranian missile attack on Israel deserves ‘overwhelming response’ from US

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) responded to Iran’s launch of a missile on Israel and said the attack deserves an “overwhelming response” from the United States.

“This missile attack against Israel should be the breaking point and I would urge the Biden Administration to coordinate an overwhelming response with Israel, starting with Iran’s ability to refine oil,” Graham said in a statement Tuesday.

Israel “don't want the knowledge out there” about Iran’s penetration of the Iron Dome – ex-CIA analyst

Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson spoke with Sputnik Tuesday about Iran’s retaliatory strike on Israel, claiming the US ally is attempting to obfuscate its weakness against Russian-provided Iranian military technology.

“I've seen the videos and you can see the missiles continue to rain down and hit targets. Israel is imposing a news blackout,” said Johnson. “They don't want the knowledge out there about what happened. But Iran made sure that it was not going to hit and run the risk of killing hundreds or thousands of Israeli civilians. They were not going to act like the Israelis… [but] the Iron Dome proved to be a bust.”

The analyst claimed Iran was forced to strike Israel after false assurances from the United States that Israel would cease attacks on its neighbors after its killing of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran in July and Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah last week. He compared Israel’s Iron Dome to the US Patriot missile system, claiming the US is unable to replenish the defense system rapidly enough to allow Israel to fight a long war of attrition.

“Lockheed Martin… can make about one and a half, one and a quarter [missiles] a day,” said Johnson. “If Iran continues to launch missile strikes like this... this right now has a chance to really get out of control.”

The Iranian attacks come as Israel readies itself for an invasion of Lebanon against Hezbollah, which has launched strikes primarily against military targets in northern Israel in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza.

NEW VIDEO: Washington Sets Trap for Iran, Will Iran Take the Bait?

On YouTube:

The US has long-standing, documented plans to provoke a war with Iran via its Israeli proxies designed to deflect the consequences away from Washington and toward Israel.

The US also seeks an opportunity to wade into a conflict after it begins, but appear committed to peace beforehand, and only reluctantly enter into an "unprovoked" war - just as the US has done with Ukraine vis-a-vis Russia.

NOTE: This was recorded before the most recent Iranian missile strikes. I will be doing an update regarding more recent events in upcoming videos. Because there is now an opportunity for the US-Israel to escalate toward wider war, this is what to watch for in the days/weeks to come.

At the request of the United States and an unnamed country, Israel refrained from attacking Iran last night.

The US is currently working to create a coalition to jointly attack Iran while simultaneously defending Israel.

The US's top priority is to secure the Strait of Hormuz after the attack on Iran begins.

Report to Congress on Israel and Lebanese Hezbollah

October 2, 2024 8:55 AM

The following is the Oct. 1, 2024, Congressional Research Service report, Israel and Lebanese Hezbollah: Conflict and Escalation.

From the report

A day after Hamas (a U.S.-designated foreign terrorist organization, or FTO) led October 7, 2023, attacks against Israel that began their ongoing war, Lebanese Hezbollah (another FTO) started shooting rockets and missiles across Lebanon’s border into Israel in a show of solidarity with Hamas. Since then, Hezbollah and Israel have regularly exchanged fire across the border. Iran appears to regard Hezbollah as its most capable partner in its “axis of resistance” versus Israel. Debate persists about the degree to which Hezbollah acts independently or as Iran’s proxy. Amid fighting after October 7, some 60,000 Israeli and 95,000 Lebanese residents evacuated the border area, with displacement in Israel at least partly due to concerns about a possible October 7-style attack from Hezbollah.

Anthony Blinken lied to congress about assessment of Israeli violations in Gaza intentionally to keep weapons flowing to Israel, leaked documents show.

Secretary of State Anthony Blinken had received confirmation from Two US government agencies (USAID & the State Department’s Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration) that Israel was deliberately starving Palestinians and blocking humanitarian Aid from reaching them. This would require him to block ALL weapons sales & support to Israel.

He rejected those findings to keep supplying Israel with weapons.

US Law requires the government to stop shipments to all countries that prevent the delivery of US-Humanitarian Aid.

You can read the full report (https://t.co/iVwMIwnzV0) here.

To think they block US AID but “allow” other humanitarian aid is a joke. Just like Israel’s democracy.

Has anyone seen how much damage was sustained in the attacks? Of course the Gaslighters here said it was a nothing burger cause no one died. Lol. Sadly there were too many idiots that believed that narrative. 80% miss has GOT to get them to at least reconsider just exactly what they want to attack.

Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib claims that the Hezbollah leader was killed after he agreed to a ceasefire with Israel.

According to the minister, the U.S. and France were informed about this peace proposal, and they confirmed that Netanyahu agreed to it as well.

If we trust this statement by the minister, then this is yet another argument to support the view that Netanyahu is personally interested in a big war in the Middle East, ideally involving the U.S., and that he is working hard to achieve this goal.

One wonders what else Netanyahu might do to bring about the big war he seems to be dreaming of.

German police classify Greta Thunberg as ‘violent’ after pro-Palestinian demonstrations

Police had decided to disperse a camp of pro-Palestinian protesters in Dortmund after receiving information that Thunberg might visit it, a statement read on Tuesday.

"The Dortmund police have predicted a danger in connection with this meeting. The announced visit of Ms. Thunberg led to the conclusion that more people would gather at the event site than was announced. In addition, the time frame specified when registering the meeting would be violated. Recent events around Thunberg have led to her being assessed as prone to violence," the police said.

German media reported that Thunberg did not show up at the scene.

In an interview with a media outlet on Monday, during the pro-Palestinian protests in Berlin, she criticized Germany for funding and legitimizing "Israel's apartheid occupation and genocide."

Palestinian presidential adviser calls war on Gaza "genocidal"

"A whole year of Israeli aggression has left the Gaza Strip facing a new real disaster and a full-fledged genocidal war, to which the Palestinian people are being subjected," Mahmoud Habbash told Sputnik.

The Palestinian Authority's priority is to negotiate a ceasefire and protect civilians in the enclave, the presidential adviser added. The victory of the Palestinian people will be achieved by ending the Israeli occupation of the enclave, he said.

"We must switch from slogans to a realistic perception of the situation, which should primarily take into account the interests of our people, their right to existence and guarantees for that right on Palestinian soil," the official added.

According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, since October 7, 2023, the death toll has exceeded 41,900, and more than 97,300 people have been injured.

I have no idea what kind of gun that was but clearly inadequate. I think a flaming arrow salvo would be more effective than that thing.
What woulda made it efective, would be if they actually tried to hit the target as opposed to shooting over their heads.

US to send anti-missile system and troops to Israel, Pentagon says

WASHINGTON, Oct 13 (Reuters) - The United States said on Sunday it will send U.S. troops to Israel along with an advanced U.S. anti-missile system, in a highly unusual deployment meant to bolster the country's air defenses following missile attacks by Iran.

U.S. President Joe Biden said the move was meant "to defend Israel," which is weighing an expected retaliation against Iran after Tehran fired more than 180 missiles at Israel on Oct 1.
