"One goal is to create free online databases for groups and individuals who want to take it upon themselves to try to find potential fraud."

If the gov of NY would do anything itself to root out the fraud, groups and individuals wouldn't have to.

Why is it that every time there is ANY effort to identify and remove ineligible voters from the roles, the dems always cry foul?
....and yes, the dems run NY.

Yeah, it's been stated before. But I think it's worth mentioning again...

In the U.S. one needs to show a valid ID to:
Purchase alcohol
Purchase cigarettes
Open a bank account
Apply for food stamps
Apply for welfare
Apply for medicare/medicaid
Apply for social security
Apply for a job
Apply for a mortgage
Rent a car (and buy a car)
Get on an airplane
Get married
Purchase a gun
Adopt a pet
Get a hotel room
Get a hunting license
Get a fishing license
Purchase a cellphone
Pick up a prescription
Purchase certain cold medicines
Make a withdrawal at your bank
To see an R rated movie
To enter a bar

But not to vote.

Seems kinda ass backwards doesn't it?

All of our Constitutionally protected Rights are supposed to be equal to each other.

Any requirements needed to exercise one, should apply to all of them.

So buying a gun should be as easy to do as voting is.

Or conversely, voting should require the same restrictions as there are when buying a gun.
