Left-wing conspiracy theorists are saying Trump stole the election with help from Elon's Starlink satellites

Left-wing conspiracy theorists have claimed the 2024 US presidential election was “stolen”, with social media posts falsely alleging Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite network was used to manipulate the result.

Claims that 20m votes in the election have “disappeared” or that Starlink was used to interfere with vote-counting machines have been shared by thousands of people across X, Threads and TikTok.

Remainder of article at link:

Shared by thousands. Kind of like biden’s oresidential videos.
Trump or Musk videos are shared by millions.

Dumbass sacks of shit for brains. How many of them understand how a VPN works? And do the voting machines even communicate over a VPN?

If the machines communicate over the Internet without a VPN (==encryption), then the problem is squarely on the machines, not the bit hose that connects them to their central counters.

TL;DR The article and its claims are absolute shit. At the most forgiving level. It is probably a deliberate sack of lies, in my opinion.

ADDED: I am a decent crypto developer, with four implementations of AES128, one in C (as a base) and assembly language libraries in PIC, STM8, and RISC-V. I am no expert, but I know and understand the path.
