"Everything CHANGES for the US in 7 Days—Trump is Ready... | Victor Davis Hanson"

In this video, Victor Davis Hanson takes a deep dive into the first seven weeks of Donald Trump’s presidency, revealing how the left's criticisms were often rooted in bias rather than facts. Hanson meticulously examines the progressive portrayal of Trump as erratic, dangerous, and unpredictable, contrasting these narratives with the actual policies and actions he took. From his bold immigration stance to his unorthodox approach to foreign diplomacy, Hanson argues that Trump’s outsider approach exposed a fundamental opposition from the political establishment. By highlighting the contradictions in the left's view of Trump, Hanson underscores how their disdain wasn’t based on his actions, but rather their ideological resistance to his challenge of the status quo. Watch now as Hanson unpacks how the left's emotional response to Trump’s presidency revealed the deep flaws within the political system.

And still we have 0 arrests.
Patience Grasshopper!
Exactly Cigarlover.
Until those involved lose their job, lose their pension and lose their freedom, then what's the point of the exercise?
Can't follow the rule of law without a trial. This isn't a Perry Mason 1 hour TV show... with commercial breaks so you can get a snack or go pee.

It's only been 70 days - roadblocks notwithstanding! Some of you have been 'awake' for several years...!

Successful Trials take time to convene. Investigations have to take place. Grand Juries have to be assembled.

You know what you know precisely because you are awake - think of the rest of the population that haven't a clue!

Prove it to yourself... talk to people you know about stuff that's been revealed here. Report back here what you learn.

To quote a certain letter of the alphabet:

"It must be done right.
It must be done according to the rule of law.
It must carry weight.
It must be proven in the court of law.
There can be no mistakes.

So why is it in government when they commit crimes it takes forever to gather evidence and form a rock solid case. In the private sector if you commit a crime you are arrested immediately. Go to Wal mart and steal a few k worth of stuff and see how fast you are arrested. Go rob a bank and see how fast they track you down and arrest you. Then you either sit in jail or make bail while thy gather all the evidence and prepare for trial.
You seem to suggest there is some other procedure for the criminals in DC.

Mayorkas allows millions of illegals into the country to include terrorists and criminals. It's so blatant a 12 year old could prosecute him.

50 million a month being given to terrorists. They already have the evidence of the money being given, all that's needed is an arrest.

he FBI has sat on the Epstein files for years doing absolutely nothing. Thats obstruction and someone should have been arrested for it already. If they want to cut a deal and avoid 20 years to life then they can give up who gave the order. Do that and there's a good chance they do 2-3 years.
There are thousands of examples of things that could be done immediately. I have yet to hear of 1 example of a grand jury even being gathered.

C'mon Goldhedge, you know that's not what Cigarlover was talking about.

That's a "Nevada resident" not a politician of any stature whatsoever.
And it's an arrest for a (by comparison) smaller dollar crime.

We're looking for arrests of someone from the government who has stolen hundreds of thousands into the millions and misappropriated even more.

Let's be honest, we all know the reason it hasn't happened AND isn't going to happen.
I've said it before - I can't turn you in for stealing a cookie from the cookie jar when my hand is in the same jar.

R or D................doesn't really matter. While it's normal to listen to what they say it's smart to watch what they do. Whether it's listening or watching do it with an open mind. Don't let some real or imagined injustice or prejudice cloud your judgement. They want total control and you living as a serf.

jm2c........fwiw (dyodd)

OK. I hear all of you guys whining that INSTA-GUY has not swept Gotham City clean... and here it is two months and ten days from swearing in.

Goddamn' good thing there has been no possible interference from entrenched/owned partisans (judges, senators, congressmen, FBI, CIA, NAS, Homeland Security, MSMedia, yada for a dozen more and you fucking know it).

Good thing Trump has the power of Caesar or Pharoah. All he has to do is say: "Let it be written, so it shall be done!" <-- and all is done. Death to anyone who demurs. Instant.

This shit situation took YOUR ENTIRE LIVES TO GET TOTALLY INTERWOVEN THROUGHOUT GOVERNMENT, grasshoppers.

Some fuckers actually barricaded themselves in their gummint buildings and received "BURN EVERYTHING" orders from their cabal bosses.

This is not an argument. This is an education. You -- who bitch "nothing happening" just have not gone through something this big.

When Pearl Harbor was bombed, and the US was wiped out in the Philippines, and Australia was actually being bombed... This LOSING GAME went on for a couple of years before the Good Guys smoked the Bad Guys. Remember?

Can you explain why we just did not go over and invade and conquer Japan on December 8? No... Give it until YOUR required scalp-taking date of April, 1942 to invade Japan. 70 days. Were we still losing in WWII after 70 days? Yup. Why did it take five years to win?

Who, apparently, was not doing anything at all to please those reading newspapers in 1941 reading Internet posts in 2025?

You mean we couldn't possibly have invaded and conquered Japan within 70 fucking days after they wiped out our navy in Pearl and our army in the Pacific Rim? WHY THE FUCK NOT? Wait -- we couldn't even show the slightest progress at all? Not a single tiny bit? Holy shit, our grandparents were as useless as those on Trump's cleanup team: They did not hang Hitler in 70 days! How pitiful/crooked/useless.

The problem, despite impatient, immediate demand for gratification, is more complex than going the French Revolution route where assholes would just shout, "j'accuse!" and the certainly guilty guy/gal/kids would go off immediately to the guillotine.

While I, too, would like "j'accuse!" to be in effect for one month, I am afraid it just wouldn't do... despite the wishes of youse grasshoppers.

Now sit down and STFU and watch the Good Guys take the Bad Guys apart. It is gonna take longer than punching the insta-gratification button.

We need the Battle of the Coral Sea done and done before we can finish up with a nuke for Hiroshima.

Wars are won, 1 battle at a time. In order to win in the long run the war must get started with the 1st battle. Doge has made some progress in exposing everything but what's really being done about it? Cuts were made but congress voted against making those cuts permanent. So we stormed Normandy and then got back in our ships and left. Since congress refuses to make those cuts permanent we can only assume they will launder the money via other agencies.
I would also point out that those on the front lines exposing everything are done in about 60 days. After that we will be relying on the politicians that are busy lining their pockets, to put and end to themselves lining their pockets. Who will stop them? Bondi and Patel? Perhaps but in order for that to happen both of them need to purge their agencies from the leftist traitors that work for them. Not an easy task. Remember Bondi was going to release the Epstein files weeks ago. Turns out she didn't even know what she didn't have.

I still remember when all the Q followers were talking about how trump was playing 4 d chess and many steps ahead of the left. Turns out just the opposite was true. Every agency infested with the left. The courts set up with leftist judges to stop the right at every turn. Hundreds of billions going into leftist organizations and campaigns for the left as well as enriching everyone that supports them.

The FBI and DOJ have 10's of thousands of people working for them. Thats not even counting the 17 spy agencies. I'm pretty certain that by now some cases could be made, arrests happen and prosecutions taking place with all of the info that's come to light. If that were to happen we would see people resigning left and right hoping to keep all their ill gotten gains.

While I agree this war takes time to win, and this is big, we also will not win a war unless we decide to get into it in the 1st place.

All these NGO's that were funding bringing in illegals. All of that is illegal. Not 1 arrest. 10's of thousands of them aiding and abetting illegals, criminals and terrorists. Billions of dollars funneled in these organizations and 0 accountability. I read somewhere that there was 55,000 NGO's. At least 90-95% were corrupt but no-one is arrested.
Every government employee that barricaded themselves in their offices should have been perp walked right to jail and held there with no bail until the investigation was complete. If you worked in the private sector and did the same thing how would that have worked out?

I think we all agree that we need to be patient but at the same time it's very hard to sit here week after week and see all of the corrup[tion exposed with not a single arrest. Hopefully that changes soon.

It's not "grassroots" after all...

🚨🇺🇸 INVESTIGATION REVEALS MASSIVE DEMOCRAT-LINKED PROTEST MACHINE BEHIND TESLA TAKEDOWN

After nationwide protests targeting Elon and Tesla, former WSJ reporter Asra Nomani uncovered a network of 24 Democrat-aligned organizations behind the scenes, with revenues over $124 million.

Marketed as spontaneous grassroots anger, these "Tesla Takedown" protests are actually coordinated "AstroTurf" events run through platforms like ActionNetwork and Mobilize .us, closely tied to Democratic Party activism.

Among key organizers: Indivisible Project, Democratic Socialists of America, MoveOn .org, and Swing Left.

At a protest in Virginia, demonstrators openly displayed Democratic signage and called for Elon's deportation.

Nomani’s investigation challenges the narrative of nonpartisan activism, exposing this effort as top-down political theater.

Walt, I honestly like you but that has to be one of the dumbest things I've ever seen you write.

Health insurance CEO admits to hiring private investigators to dig up dirt on patients, doctors and politicians

The CEO of a Texas health insurance company was fired after admitting before a DOGE panel of state lawmakers that he hired private investigators to spy on customers and obtain sensitive details about their lives.

Mark Sanders was dismissed from his duties as chief executive of Austin-based Superior HealthPlan after he testified before the Texas House Delivery of Government Efficiency Committee in a hearing on Medicaid procurement last week.

Hopefully arrests will follow soon.

Chickens Are Coming Home To Roost

The implications of this will be enormous. Remember the post I did on Jasmine Crokette? DOGE now has legal grounds to arrest. Which was recently given to them. I think many would probably be shocked as to how this potentially unfolds. We are not used to seeing something of this magnitude in terms of accountability. Let alone a follow-up with mass arrest as a result of illicit criminal funds being the reason. Something most never thought would be done.

Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) – Net Worth: ~$120 Million
Pelosi’s $120 million fortune (OpenSecrets, 2024) dwarfs her $223,500 Speaker salary guess Napa vineyards bloom better when you’re passing laws! Her husband Paul’s trades, like $4 million Nvidia gains (Newsweek, 2024), scream insider trading, especially as her portfolio dipped post-Trump. DOGE should ask how this “public servant” turned Capitol Hill into her personal casino.

Mitch McConnell (R-KY) – Net Worth: ~$35 Million
McConnell’s $35 million (PolitiFact, 2023) on a $193,400 salary must come from his wife Elaine Chao’s shipping empire, which scored Chinese contracts while he sat on key committees (OpenSecrets, 2022). How noble to “serve” Kentucky while coal miners starve!

Chuck Schumer (D-NY) – Net Worth: ~$20 Million
Schumer’s $20 million (PolitiFact, 2023) on a $193,400 salary comes from real estate and stocks that spike after his banking votes textbook insider trading. A true man of the people, thriving while New Yorkers dodge subway rats!

Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) – Net Worth: ~$12 Million
Warren’s $12 million (PolitiFact, 2023) from book deals and real estate on a $174,000 salary is rich for a “consumer advocate” railing against the 1%. Did her CFPB work hide money laundering?

Roy Blunt (R-MO) – Net Worth: ~$10.7 Million
Blunt’s wealth jumped from $602,000 to $10.7 million on a $174,000 salary, likely from agribusiness kickbacks while on the Agriculture Committee. A farmer’s friend shouldn’t be a millionaire while rural Missouri starves!

Judy Chu (D-CA) – Net Worth: ~$7.1 Million Chu’s net worth soared from under $100,000 to $7.1 million on a $174,000 salary, with real estate gains tied to her tax committee votes classic insider trading. How sweet to “serve” while her district’s renters get crushed!

Richard Burr (R-NC) – Net Worth: ~$4 Million
Burr’s $4 million (OpenSecrets, 2022) on a $174,000 salary got a boost from his 2020 stock dump during COVID briefings insider trading much. A public servant shouldn’t profit while North Carolinians suffer!

Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) – Net Worth: ~$90 Million
Feinstein, who died in 2023, left $90 million despite a $174,000 salary, thanks to her husband Richard Blum’s investments in defense contractors while she sat on the Intelligence Committee.

Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) – Net Worth: ~$5 Million
McCarthy’s $5 million on a $174,000 salary grew through real estate and tech stocks, often tied to bills he pushed insider trading vibes. A Bakersfield boy shouldn’t be a millionaire while his district struggles!

Bernie Sanders (I-VT) – Net Worth: ~$3 Million
Sanders’ $3 million (PolitiFact, 2023) on a $174,000 salary comes from book deals, but how does a socialist crusader justify three homes while Vermonters scrape by? Did his anti-corporate rants mask backroom deals?

DOGE now has legal grounds to arrest.
The why haven't they arrested her?
Let alone a follow-up with mass arrest as a result of illicit criminal funds being the reason. Something most never thought would be done.
Mass arrest?
How about one? let's say you show us one, just one and then maybe I'll believe there's a "mass arrest" coming.

JUST IN:
@ElonMusk announces that people will start being arrested for committing fraud against the American people.

"Someone is going to be arrested tomorrow. He actually stole 400,000 social security numbers & personal information from the Social Security database and was selling social security numbers in order for people to basically steal money from Social Security."

About time!

So then tomorrow we find out if this is all BS or not. If this person is arrested then hopefully there will be thousands of illegals who are also arrested. They should then be forced to work for free and the employer can. take what would have been their paycheck and payback every penny they stole. Once everything has been paid back they can go home broke.

Hopefully this person who is going to be arrested is a federal government official of some sort.

I wish we'd stop with all the screaming headlines in bold type that someone is being arrested and it ends up being just some guy named Herb from Sheboygan. Don't get me wrong, I'll still be glad the operation has been crushed and the scheme has ended, but it just doesn't have the same impact as prosecuting the real criminals hailing from DC.

They're the ones doing this kind of stuff on a much grander scale.

Why is it that it seems whenever the arrests happen it's always the street dealer and never the guy flying the shit in from central America?

This is great news, seriously. I'm glad you stopped Herb's criminal enterprise.
But now what about the Biden crime family? etc

I don't doubt that all of the waste fraud and abuse that Elon Musk and the DOGE team say they are finding actually exists. It would not surprise me at all. In fact, I wholeheartedly believe the vast majority of the claims.

However, we have got to be very, VERY careful here.

Personally, I don't take the word of any politician or any government official at face value anymore. And make no mistake, Musk and his team are acting in an official government capacity.

So I want to see some kind of verification of the claims. I want some tangible evidence and many times the only thing I can find online is "Elon Musk stated" or "DOGE says they have uncovered".

Remember extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.

This absolutely opens the door for future abuse by some future figure who only has to make the claim and it's taken as truth.

McCarthyism anyone? Yes, I know many of you are going to say McCarthy was right and there were communists in government institutions, but you'd be missing the point. Not everyone accused was a communist.

This is an extremely slippery slope and while I back what Trump and Musk are doing we should not, cannot, let our guard down.

Be careful what you're cheering on today because tomorrow it could come back and bite you in the ass.

Grok:

Have there been any prosecutions from the DOGE team findings as of yet and will there be any in the future?

Answer:

As of April 1, 2025, there have been no confirmed prosecutions directly resulting from the findings of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) team. Despite claims on X and some news outlets suggesting that Attorney General Pam Bondi announced impending prosecutions for fraud uncovered by DOGE, no official documentation or credible reports confirm that any individuals have been charged yet. DOGE, established by executive order on January 20, 2025, has focused on identifying inefficiencies and cutting federal spending, claiming savings in the billions. However, independent analyses, such as those from NPR, have found that many of these savings are overstated or misreported, and what DOGE often labels as "fraud" may actually be waste or inefficiency rather than legally prosecutable criminal activity.

Regarding future prosecutions, it’s uncertain but possible. Posts on X and some sources indicate that Bondi has formed a task force to investigate potential fraud tied to DOGE’s findings, with statements like, "If you’ve committed fraud, we’re coming after you." However, legal experts note that proving fraud requires a high standard of evidence, including intent, which DOGE’s public claims—often about canceled contracts or unused software licenses—have not yet substantiated as criminal acts. Legal hurdles, such as lawsuits blocking DOGE’s access to sensitive data (e.g., Treasury Department records), could also delay or prevent prosecutions. Without official DOJ confirmation or court filings, any talk of future prosecutions remains speculative as of now.

In short: no prosecutions have occurred yet based on available evidence, and while there’s intent signaled by officials, whether they’ll happen depends on DOGE providing actionable, legally sound evidence—something that’s unclear given the current data.

_________________________________

As for me.............I don't think there will be any prosecutions. My reason: Both sides (R & D) use words as talking points. Commie, socialist, authoritarian, totalitarian, dictator, traitor, etc. They are used as labels by both sides to stigmatize someone or something they don't like. And so far, DOGE has used a lot of words but has not provided the legal system or the American public with any proof of what they claim as far as fraud is concerned.

Just me (take anything I say fwiw and dyodd) but I would think if they actually did uncover actual fraud, they'd go on national tv and present it to the American public. They'd show who was involved, explain what they did that was fraudulent and list the charges against them. Afterwards they would have a chance to prove their accusations / charges in a courtroom. And I simply don't see that happening any time soon.

Then again................I could be dead wrong. Time will tell.

More Grok:

Musk says Social Security scammer who allegedly ripped off 400K Americans faces imminent arrest. What can you tell me about this?

Answer:

Elon Musk recently made a statement during a town hall event aimed at rallying support for the Wisconsin Supreme Court election, claiming that a scammer who allegedly defrauded 400,000 Americans by selling their Social Security numbers is facing imminent arrest. This was reported by Fox News on April 1, 2025. Musk, who is involved with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), did not provide specific details about the identity of the alleged scammer or the exact nature of the arrest during the event.

Musk’s comments align with his ongoing efforts through DOGE to investigate and address fraud within government systems, particularly targeting the Social Security Administration. Earlier reports from March 2025 indicate that Musk and his team have been scrutinizing Social Security for what they describe as widespread vulnerabilities to fraudulent activities, such as the submission of fake Social Security numbers to claim federal benefits. However, no concrete evidence or official confirmation from authorities like the Department of Justice has been publicly detailed in relation to this specific claim of an imminent arrest as of the latest updates.

The broader context suggests Musk has been vocal about Social Security fraud, claiming it’s a significant issue based on DOGE’s findings. Posts on X from April 1, 2025, echo this sentiment, with users referencing Musk’s statement and some linking it to broader concerns about identity theft and financial fraud schemes. However, without additional specifics—like the scammer’s identity, the timeline of the alleged crimes, or law enforcement statements—it’s unclear how immediate or substantiated the arrest claim is at this moment.

Given the current date of April 1, 2025, and the timing of Musk’s statement, it’s possible more information could emerge soon if an arrest does occur. For now, the claim rests primarily on Musk’s public assertion, with limited independent verification available.

DOGE’s access to the payroll system of 276,000 federal employees puts government on path to have ‘unprecedented power and control’ over Americans’ information, experts say

  • The Elon-Musk led Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) gained access over the weekend to the payroll system overseeing the information of 276,000 federal workers. DOGE’s continued access to sensitive data has raised concerns about privacy and cybersecurity, but also about the long-term goal of the advisory group, which has continued to espouse eliminating government waste and fraud.
The Department of Government Efficiency has continued its charge to obtain sensitive government information, gaining access over the weekend to federal payroll systems, raising concerns about the long-term goals of the advisory’s efforts to overhaul U.S. bureaucracy.
