Ok...........McCarthy lost the 14th but somethings going on. I think the repubs have got it. Believe someone is changing a vote. So, if it's allowed McCarthy has it. If it's not allowed, they will vote again, and McCarthy will have it.

Going to vote again. When it's over McCarthy will be the speaker.

They're playing politics with the numbers.

they need 216 if everyone shows up.

Pushing it to 10pm they're hoping not everyone shows up.

BUT they must show up otherwise they won't require 216 votes.

Vote count is based upon how many members are present. Fewer present means fewer votes are needed.

McCarthy 216
Jeffries 212

McCarthy wins on the 15th try.

One thing you can say about the Dems, They stick together...

Feeds been removed... The usual suspects.

Marjorie Taylor Greene was seen with DT on her iPhone screen and showing it to other Freedom Caucus members.

Evidently Donald Trump was on the phone.

I went to her Twitter account and the photo is there with her tweet

“It was the perfect phone call.”

Perhaps it was this...

You mean 'a couple more negotiations'....

I wonder if those so-called 'promises' will be held up, or ignored??
The money will have changed hands, so your second line is moot.

Upstate New York County Elections Commissioner Pleads Guilty To Ballot Fraud

Martin Walsh
January 12, 2023

A former county elections commissioner in New York has pleaded guilty to applying for absentee ballots in the names of other registered voters.

“Jason Schofield, who is from Troy, resigned last month from the Rensselaer County Board of Elections. He admitted that in 2021 he unlawfully used the names and birthdates of voters in connection with 12 absentee ballot applications that he submitted electronically to the New York State Voter Absentee Ballot Application Request Portal, according to federal prosecutors,” Fox News reported.

“Schofield, 43, admitted he falsely certified that he was the voter requesting each of the absentee ballots. When Schofield was originally arraigned in September, his attorney said Schofield maintained he was innocent of the charges in the 12-count indictment. Schofield is scheduled to be sentenced on May 12. He faces up to five years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, and supervised release of up to three years for each count,” the report added.

Kellyanne Conway Says There's Only ONE Way Trump Can Win In 2024

Jan 16, 2023

In a new op-ed for The New York Times, former Trump counselor Kellyanne Conway says that there is only one way for Donald Trump to win the White House in 2024, and that is to once again portray himself as "the outsider." But the public has already seen the damage that an "outsider" can cause while in office, because Trump was an unmitigated disaster - a disaster that Conway herself helped make worse. “I am the MAGA king”: NM GOP election loser who cried fraud charged in shootings targeting Dems

A failed Republican candidate for the New Mexico House of Representatives was arrested by a SWAT team on Monday and charged with orchestrating a series of shootings targeting Democrats in Albuquerque, police said.

Solomon Peña, who lost his race to represent the state's 14th House District last year, paid and conspired with four men to shoot at the homes of two state lawmakers and two county commissioners, according to Albuquerque Police Chief Harold Medina.

there is only one way for Donald Trump to win the White House in 2024, and that is to once again portray himself as "the outsider.
So if being an outsider is the only way to win, then that means that the People are obviously tired of the insiders. Otherwise, being an "outsider" would be the last way anyone could win.

But the public has already seen the damage that an "outsider" can cause while in office,
The "damage" was what the insiders did as a means of fighting back against the outsider that they did not want.

We are just starting to see similar tactics used against the bidet.

Joe.............does he really want to run again?

Cha-ching $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Election denialism is a big business with major profits for those targeting Trump donors: report

Donald Trump spent the past two years fundraising off of his 2020 election loss. Hats, t-shirts, events, photo books, and mugs, all branded with the claim that the 2020 election was stolen from him. Those who aren't Trump have figured out the profits are significant and the rules are nil.

IssueOne describes election-denying secretary of state candidates raked in buckets of cash and the political consultant class found ways to profit too.

Political consultancies raked in millions from the election-denying secretary of state candidates in 2022 using rhetoric that is consistent with Trump's claim of 2020 election fraud. In most states, the secretary of the state conducts elections in addition to other state businesses. Twelve of these far-right candidates were rejected by voters in Nov. 2022.

Joe.............does he really want to run again?
He says he does. He is currently and officially the only candidate running.

As for making money on losing, they all do that. They hit up donors to help 'em beat them next time.

Can you say Gaslighting?

From the link:

Federal District Court Judge Donald Middlebrooks on Thursday dropped the hammer on former President Donald Trump's attorneys by hitting them with sanctions totaling nearly $1 million for what he described as "misuse of the courts."

In a court order flagged by Politico's Kyle Cheney, Middlebrooks raked Trump's lawyers over the coals for their failed lawsuit against Hillary Clinton for purportedly defaming him by accusing him of being Russian President Vladimir Putin's puppet during the 2016 campaign.

"Misuse"... in this country.... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA The Just Us system is out of control.
