Pakistan's cricket star-turned prime minister Imran Khan was shot on Thursday as an assailant opened fire on his vehicle in an apparent assassination attempt. Representatives for the ex-premier told CBS News he was hit in the foot and or the lower leg, and his injuries were not life-threatening. He was transported to a hospital in Lahore for treatment.

Aides of the divisive politician, who was ousted as PM earlier this year but is trying hard to make a comeback, say his wounds are not life-threatening.

WEF and the deep state hate Imran Khan. He was cleaning up corruption and working to help the citizens of Pakistan, which is of course intolerable. I guess they weren't content with just removing him from power with a coup.
