Why John Deere is Moving Manufacturing to Mexico

Aug 1, 2024

In this video, we dive deep into the recent news that John Deere & Co. is relocating some of its manufacturing jobs from the United States to Mexico. This move has sparked significant controversy and negative publicity for the farm equipment manufacturer. We will explore what’s happening behind the scenes with John Deere and other leading farm equipment companies, and break down five key points that illuminate the reasons behind this shift.

He didn't even touch on the real reason.

The real reason for it is because of our government's gross mismanagement of our monetary system.

The only reason off-shoring of manufacturing ever became a thing, is to be able to produce products cheaper in order to not have to increase prices as much as would be required in order to keep production here.

That is entirely the result of 100+ years of constant excess money creation.
....and the gov allows it (mass off-shoring) because that helps to hide the problem IT created.

Meh, I think it was more nefarious. the owners of the system made a shit ton of money from said offshoring. Much more profit when you can use slaves.

I think it was more nefarious.
What's more nefarious than the inflationary monetary system the People were hoodwinked into being locked in to?

Not much, if anything.

This move by JD is but a late stage symptom of it.

Inflation theft just wasn't enough for these Psyco's. They wanted MOAR.
The problem is that input costs are rising faster than their customers ability/willingness to pay more for their finished product.
...and something has to give.

Employee wages are the quickest and fastest way to lower those increasing input costs, if they still want to be able to sell their products.

Intel also just announced 15,000 layoffs. I think that's about 10% of their workforce.

Ilemme try again.

Inflation theft is by your gov.

JD is just like you me and everyone else who are getting their budgets squeezed by that gov theft.
....and all of us are trying to find ways to still live (and operate) the same as before.

Us people do that by finding cheaper alternatives to the products we like to buy.
Ex: buying cheaper generic products instead of name brand.

JD and other co's do the same. Dif is, the biggest product most of them buy, is labor.
Ex: buying cheaper foreign labor (generic) instead of domestic labor. (Name brand)

If it weren't for the inflationary monetary system our ignorant and self interested morons, err, I mean leaders, set us up on, we could still make most of our own stuff, and gold could still be $20/ounce.

The whole problem stems from an ignorant and greedy government and banking system and an equally ignorant populace that enabled them, and still does.

Trump threatens '200% tariff' if John Deere moves production to Mexico

  • Former President Donald Trump threatened John Deere with a 200% tariff if the agricultural manufacturer moves some of its production to factories in Mexico.
  • John Deere plans to shift production of some of its models to Mexico, a move that has resulted in layoffs at some facilities in Iowa.
  • Shares of Deere dipped about 1.6% in after-hours trading. Trump made the threat shortly after the closing bell.
Former President Donald Trump on Monday threatened John Deere with a 200% tariff if the agricultural manufacturer moves production to factories in Mexico.

"They've announced a few days ago that they're going to move a lot of their manufacturing business to Mexico," the Republican nominee said at a policy roundtable in Smithton, Pennsylvania, hosted by the Protecting America Initiative.

Well that's a good thing.

After reading so much about Johh Deere...

I believe the company is completely wrong. And I support the idea of destroying the company entirely. My hope is that a new company will emerge that will use the talent in the formerly damned labor force.

It's happening all throughout industry...all industry.

The corporate-drone wing of the Elite Class, BELIEVED the Big Pharma propaganda - and got Jabbed. Some probably got the saline; but most were not connected enough to have someone higher-up steer a dud load to your private Jab session.

I see this in Deere; in what was Anheiser-Busch (The Bud Blight Fiasco), in Stellantis, in Ford, in Warren Buffet's BNSF Railway. Boeing. Anywhere you find DEI and Woke, you find more than destructive ignorance; you find IMPAIRMENT IN LOGIC and FLAWED THINKING.

You find people at the top GROSSLY IMPAIRED in logic and thought.

Deere is just the most egregious in the moment; because SO MANY...CRITICALLY-PRODUCTIVE PEOPLE, FOOD producers, are coming up against it and not able to make the system work. But it's all over.

They aren't bankraupt. Their stock is near highs because they are outsourcing all production to the more slave labor in Mexico.

Nope. That's a clickbait header - the technique seems near-universal now, on Ewww Toob. I suspect the Ewww Toob liaisons are teaching the regular providers to use that. Scotty Kilmer and others do this all the time now, and it's annoying as f__k.

That said...it's gonna be trouble for Deere. The damn company is obviously Woked to the gills - it believes its masters are not customers, but government ministers, who are behind most of their problems. It's Obamafantasy EPA diktats that require fer-fuxxake FARM TRACTORS to have emissions controls - and then, for them to last a certain period, and not be disabled. THAT means FACTORY-LICENSED REPAIR PEOPLE ONLY.

You can see the problem with that, especially since we've been dealing with it for nearly ten years, now. But Deere doesn't care - we gonna do what government tells us to do.

That is a mind-shift - the corporation, as a hive-mind, decides that pleasing its BUYERS doesn't matter, anymore. Pleasing the PUBLIC is irrelevant - it's pleasing BUREAUCRATS that matters.

And all this smog equipment, the research to develop it, COSTS. So, to please the Banksters (who write loans for this stuff, who have de-facto ownership) they have to control costs other ways.

That means sending the manufacturing off to Mejico. And if that doesn't work, there's always China.

This is what comes of the corporate-government "partnership" - which is the early stages of Fascism.

John Deere contradicts Trump’s weird claim about Mexico, factories

A few weeks ago, Donald Trump appeared at a campaign event held at a Pennsylvania farm, at which the Republican issued an unusual threat.

While it’s unheard of for a presidential candidate to threaten a major American company directly, the GOP nominee said he was prepared to punish John Deere with a 200% tariff if the agricultural manufacturer moves some of its production to factories in Mexico.

The company had announced plans to shift some production from Iowa to Mexico, so the intimidating warning was rooted, at least in part, in fact.

It was against this backdrop that the former president made a bizarre appearance at the Economic Club of Chicago on Tuesday, where he delivered an unexpected boast: His threat, he claimed, worked like a charm.

I completely agree and I think John Deere is mostly done. They have ruined their brand name. Just not gonna be able to get that back. And they are one of the last manufacturers in this town.

And they admit as much as they are firing more people. Of course, that just "helps" them in their overall goal of moving to slave labor.

And the local plant is shutting down till January. Isn't it a peach that these guys always shut down over the Holidays.

These companies aren't loyal. That's obvious.
