“I’ve been in conversation with a couple of retired generals to explore what we can do,” Jamie Mannina, advisor to the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon, former FBI Special Agent, and self-proclaimed “spy hunter,” disclosed to an undercover OMG Journalist his plans to utilize irregular strategies to undermine Donald Trump’s presidency.

Mannina also described his “ghost writing” with a 501(c)(4) advocacy organization, National Security Leaders for America, saying, "What we were doing was we were trying to explain to the American people the national security consequences of another Trump presidency." He elaborated on his recent activities, saying, “Since the spring, I was working with these retired generals, retired ambassadors,” adding, “They're like one, two, or three-star generals and admirals. You probably know maybe four stars." He acknowledged the organization's ultimate goal, emphasizing, "This organization tried to defeat Donald Trump."

Mannina further revealed that he was participating in a “huge meeting with military leaders; in a very secure room called ‘The Tank.’” The Tank is a nickname for the Joint Chiefs of Staff Conference room which is a (SCIF), a Compartmentalized Information Facility. Discussing the focus of these meetings, Mannina shared that "the United States has specialized in artificial intelligence and emerging technology, quantum, [and] cybersecurity." He elaborated on the potential of quantum technology, stating, "Quantum is incredibly fast, super-computing. That doesn't yet exist, but will soon exist, and when it does, it will change everything."

Addressing the broader challenges in advancing these technologies, Mannina stressed, "We need to overcome a lot of bureaucratic obstacles." He underscored the importance of fostering international cooperation, stating, "We need to work better with partners." He added, "International partners need to, you know, think creatively to avoid overclassification, which really prohibits the ability to share information across their retailer."

Mannina also made critical remarks about Pete Hegseth, a Fox News correspondent and rumored candidate for Secretary of Defense. Mannina alleged that Hegseth has "a drinking problem," claimed he "cheated on all his wives," and referenced unspecified sexual assault allegations. When questioned about Hegseth’s qualifications, Mannina expressed skepticism about his potential role in government, describing him as "an alcoholic" with a history of troubling behavior.

Confirmation hearing for Pam Bondi going on now. Not exactly the same as Hegseth's hearing but along party lines. Definitely not bipartisan.

One thing I like is that she said, "we have to bring the country back together or we won't have a country."

Not anywhere as contentious as Hegseth's party yesterday.

Edit to add:

Senators:
- Hirono came across as a gluttonous sweat hog who really made no eye contact with Bondi
- Cruz needs more acting lessons
- Blumenthal :dontknow:

They broke for lunch. Looking forward to round 2.

Edit: I didn't see this but it's a bit continuous.

For God sakes Padilla.............let the woman talk!!!!!

DEEP STATE GEARING UP: Nearly Half of Federal Employees in the Swamp Plan to Resist Trump, Poll Finds

Tyler O'Neil | January 13, 2025

A surprising number of federal government employees admit they are gearing up to act like a deep state, opposing the incoming second administration of Donald Trump.

Most Americans, even many of the elites who voted for Vice President Kamala Harris, are willing to support Trump’s administration, according to an RMG Research survey commissioned by the Napolitan Institute. Yet 42% of federal government managers who work in the Washington, D.C., swamp intend to work against the administration.

One down 47% more to go!

Pentagon’s DoD advisor Jamie Mannina reportedly fired after exposed as Trump hater | The Express Tribune

I honestly think this story has legs and is going to lead to a cleansing. This is being acknowledged as true by the actions be taken by DOD. I am thinking that James has a working relationship with the Trump team. This is a very specific investigation directly related to Trump and the presidency.

Republicans in Congress warn rising US bond yields could hit Trump's tax cut plans

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Just days before Donald Trump returns to power, some of his Republican allies in the U.S. Congress are warning that the president-elect's aggressive tax-cut agenda could fall victim to signs of worry in the bond market.

At a closed-door meeting on Capitol Hill, Republicans in the House of Representatives aired concerns that the estimated $4 trillion cost over the next 10 years of extending the 2017 Trump tax cuts could undermine the U.S. government's ability to service its $36 trillion in debt, which is growing at a pace of $2 trillion a year.

Ok, Bye Felicia. No more paychecks. No more pension. And maybe you'll avoid jail.

Trump
January 20th cannot come fast enough! Everybody, even those that initially opposed a Victory by President Donald J. Trump and the Trump Administration, just want it to happen. It is my obligation to protect the People of our Country but, before we even begin, we have to think of the Inauguration itself. The weather forecast for Washington, D.C., with the windchill factor, could take temperatures into severe record lows. There is an Arctic blast sweeping the Country. I don’t want to see people hurt, or injured, in any way. It is dangerous conditions for the tens of thousands of Law Enforcement, First Responders, Police K9s and even horses, and hundreds of thousands of supporters that will be outside for many hours on the 20th (In any event, if you decide to come, dress warmly!).

Therefore, I have ordered the Inauguration Address, in addition to prayers and other speeches, to be delivered in the United States Capitol Rotunda, as was used by Ronald Reagan in 1985, also because of very cold weather. The various Dignitaries and Guests will be brought into the Capitol. This will be a very beautiful experience for all, and especially for the large TV audience!

We will open Capital One Arena on Monday for LIVE viewing of this Historic event, and to host the Presidential Parade. I will join the crowd at Capital One, after my Swearing In.

All other events will remain the same, including the Victory Rally at Capital One Arena, on Sunday at 3 P.M. (Doors open at 1 P.M.—Please arrive early!), and all three Inaugural Balls on Monday evening.

Everyone will be safe, everyone will be happy, and we will, together, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

It's a pardon marathon.

Biden grants clemency to 2,500 people, most ever in a day

President Joe Biden on Friday commuted the sentences of nearly 2,500 people convicted of non-violent drug offenses in what the White House called the largest single-day act of clemency in US history.

Those whose sentences were commuted were serving "disproportionately long sentences" compared to what they would receive today, Biden said in a statement.

What did America look like 100 years ago?

Jan 17, 2025
President Biden warned of the rise of an oligarchy in his farewell address, comparing influential billionaires of today to the "robber barons" of 100 years ago. American historian H.W. Brands discusses their influence over government and the American way of life in the 19th century.

The Founding Fathers intended a system of checks and balances. They didn't explicitly envision executive orders but understood the need for executive authority to ensure the laws’ execution.

Historically, executive orders were mainly used for routine administrative purposes or specific issues that didn't require congressional approval.

For example, George Washington, used executive orders for administrative tasks such as establishing Thanksgiving as a national day of thanks.

IMHO things have gotten way out of hand within the last couple of decades.

It almost seems as if both sides are playing a game of what's good for the goose is good for the gander.
If "your side" sees fit the issue 100 executive orders then "my side" can issue 101.

At least the U.S. Supreme Court has affirmed that executive orders must be rooted in the Constitution or derived from Congressional authority. They are subject to review and can be overturned if deemed unconstitutional. I guess we can hang our hat on that.

Biden issues pre-emptive pardons for potential Trump targets

For weeks, there's been speculation and White House debate about whether President Joe Biden would issue pre-emptive pardons for those who might be targeted by Donald Trump. As Inauguration Day approached, it appeared that the retiring Democrat had decided not to pursue such an approach.

Those appearances were wrong. With just hours remaining in his term, Biden issued pardons for:

  • Retired Gen. Mark Milley
  • Dr. Anthony Fauci
  • Members and staffers of the bipartisan Jan. 6 Committee
  • Police officers who testified before the Jan. 6 Committee

The promises made today during the rally speech covered just about everything we wanted to see happen:

- DECLAS
- Decentralization
- Deportation
- Fiscal growth and opportunity
- Freedom for the J6 political prisoners
- Help for WNC
- Killing less than worthless Federal agencies and cleaning up the rest
- Ending the war in Ukraine

The list is long.

The difference between hearing these things from Trump and a politician is that he means every single word.

Patriots are celebrating.

The turd jugglers are sweating.

It’s working out just as planned.

BREAKING — On his first day in office, President Trump will suspend the security clearances of the 51 former intelligence community officials who "lied” about Hunter Biden’s laptop being Russian disinformation leading to mass censorship of the story, per Fox News.

Why? Did they commit crimes they'd be prosecuted for?

Biden just preemptively pardoned Fauci, Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, Mark Milley and all staff of the J6 Committee.

They know at noon everything changes.

This is a provocation.

Shock and awe time.

High noon is almost here.

I would respect someone who received a pardon and turned it down because they know they’re innocent. But Fauci, Kinzinger, Cheney, Milley and all of the J6 Committee will of course accept because either:

1) They’re guilty as sin and they know it.

OR

2) Democrats have so corrupted and weaponized the justice system to target their political opponents they know innocence is irrelevant. Pure projection.

The incoming administration would never use power to convict an innocent person, but either way these disgraceful preemptive pardons will forever mark them all as guilty in the eyes of the public, and either way they’ve brought this terrible legacy on themselves.
