You are Living in a Kleptocracy with John Rubino

Feb 10, 2025

John Rubino outlined the deep state's bipartisan framework, emphasizing the interplay between government roles and think tanks that often leads to ineffective outcomes. He highlighted USAID's covert operations as an extension of the CIA, funding mainstream media and actions that align with U.S. interests abroad. Rubino noted that the Trump administration's significant cuts to USAID's workforce and funding have raised concerns among deep state operatives. He described the administration's strategy of overwhelming the media with multiple controversies, which has resulted in a chaotic political environment that distracts from in-depth coverage of critical issues.

Rubino and Kerry Lutz discussed the implications of USAID's funding, suggesting it could evolve into a pro-MAGA initiative while raising concerns about promoting censorship in recipient countries. They highlighted the agency's financial support for relief efforts for illegal immigrants and the ethical dilemmas surrounding the distribution of surplus mRNA vaccines abroad. Their analysis pointed to the complex relationship between foreign aid, political agendas, and governance, emphasizing the need for accountability in how funds are allocated and utilized.

The current state of USAID was critiqued as a "gravy train" for political operatives rather than an effective aid organization. Lutz provided examples of substantial funding directed to NGOs, including $8 million to Bill Kristol's organization, and discussed financial mismanagement within government agencies, including potential losses in HUD. Both speakers called for increased scrutiny of government spending practices, particularly regarding the Pentagon's lack of audits, which could reveal significant fraud.

Rubino and Lutz examined the volatile political landscape, expressing concerns about the effectiveness of the current administration and the perception of government as a "grift." They discussed the potential for significant political upheaval and the capabilities of the new press secretary in countering mainstream media narratives. The conversation also touched on the gold market, with Rubino attributing its rise to factors like soaring debt and low interest rates, while Lutz speculated on the future of cryptocurrencies and their potential impact on inflation and the financial landscape.

I think we already know the CIA was involved. The fact that Congress sealed the finding for 75 years tells us that the Government was complicit. That should all hang for killing a sitting President and then covering it up. Why the people didn't revolt back then is a mystery.

Germany had a "Federal Reserve" of sorts.

Why the people didn't revolt back then is a mystery.
from my recollection 'the people' had NO CLUE the government was as corrupt as we've been learning these last few days.

People trusted the media to report the news. Trusted the FBI, CIA, government itself!

Heck, they went off to Viet Nam to fight for America! It was only after the 60's that the youth said "BS" to that!

The 50's generation still believed in Truth, Justice, and the American way! Butch haircuts, bobby socks, and romance reigned.

Most folks today don't understand what is really going on. Of course, one would have to study history to see it, but most are busy watching the TV, or their phones to be bothered.

One might even peruse the Q thread and start learning what's coming?

Here's a good laugh. Trump talks smack about turkey neck and his old lady and literally shits all over the guy and now he's warning peeps. WTF?? Why didn't he deal with the guy when he had a chance to do so? Trump was impeached twice. Turkey neck could have mounted a campaign against Trump and saw to it that Trump was absolutely impeached which would have ended Trump's political career. Instead of that the cowardly weasel went along with his party and basically groveled on the floor proclaiming Trump to be "fearless leader." Now this. WTF!?

History in the making at MSC: A new world order in one weekend? | DW News

Feb 16, 2025 #MSC2025 #USA #Russia

The Munich Security Conference comes to an end today after a dramatic three days that showed fundamental rifts between the US and the EU. US Vice-President JD Vance accused European leaders of retreating from their values and ignoring voter concerns on migration and free speech. Vance's speech came after President Donald Trump blindsided allies in possible Ukraine peace negotiations, by holding unilateral talks with Russian president Vladimir Putin. It is likely to be remembered as the week that fundamentally altered the transatlantic alliance, and reestablished US ties to Russia.
DW's Chief Political Correspondent Richard Walker provides some analysis of what happened and what to expect.
