from my recollection 'the people' had NO CLUE the government was as corrupt as we've been learning these last few days.Why the people didn't revolt back then is a mystery.
Here's a good laugh. Trump talks smack about turkey neck and his old lady and literally shits all over the guy and now he's warning peeps. WTF?? Why didn't he deal with the guy when he had a chance to do so? Trump was impeached twice. Turkey neck could have mounted a campaign against Trump and saw to it that Trump was absolutely impeached which would have ended Trump's political career. Instead of that the cowardly weasel went along with his party and basically groveled on the floor proclaiming Trump to be "fearless leader." Now this. WTF!?

WASHINGTON — Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., the longest-serving Senate leader in history, announced on his 83rd birthday Thursday that he won’t seek re-election next year, bringing an end to his four-decade career in the chamber.
McConnell, elected in 1984, climbed his way up to the Senate Republican leader position in 2007 and remained there until early 2025, serving during four administrations in the majority and the minority.
