Donald Trump says TikTokers ‘deserve to see’ his inauguration
Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Returning President Donald Trump, ahead of his second term in office, said Sunday that TikTok users "deserve to see" his "exciting inauguration" as he promised an extension that would keep the app from staying dark."I'm asking companies not to let TikTok stay dark! I will issue an executive order on Monday to extend the period of time before the law's prohibitions take effect, so that we can make a deal to protect our national security," Trump said on his Truth Social platform.
"Americans deserve to see our exciting Inauguration on Monday, as well as other events and conversations."

Something to consider
Holy smokes, my suspicions may have been dead on.
I posted earlier today about the possibility that the TikTok shutdown might have been necessary to remove Chinese access to the US homed servers.
As it turns out, TikTok was likely moved to an isolated US based server group owned by META during the blackout.
The main issue with TikTok was the networked US ByteDance servers that were presumably connected to their China-based servers, allowing free data access to the CCP.
With the servers moved the problem is solved. No more data transfer to China.
17 hours. Same old TikTok. Brand new data secure TikTok.
Zuckersuck was read in, META got a fat data handling fee, and Trump made it happen.
