Updates on the insane world of money and power A Layman's Take On The Trump Indictment

Never Had A Boss

Understanding what is happening to Donald Trump requires an overview of changes within the American political landscape—and how those changes are being used to silence/punish Trump. This indictment is so politically-motivated that it ought to send a chill through every American—on our path of no return—that we are forced to take.

About this politically-merciless attack, Americans need to be made aware of legal facts. Trump is Trump. Is he capable of indiscretions? Of course he is. He's also a 'one of a kind president', willing to blurt out truths: Is NATO necessary? We need to understand what is being done to Trump, so as to understand how it puts the republic at risk.

What has changed in the US political structure? A 2 hour discussion between Neil deGrasse Tyson (astrophysicist), and Del Bigtree ('The HighWire'), speaks to it. For 45 minutes, while Tyson waxed strong about scientific method, peer review, and scientific consensus, he offered neither critique nor questions about the 'vaccines'/lockdowns'. Also, Tyson features in a documentary identifying Bigtree as a 'clickbait' Pharma critic.

For Tyson, 'arrived science consensus', having been tested and peer-reviewed is what science is. And, in this process individual researchers/physicians are in-consequential because it is the 'consensus' that 'cuts its way' into the future. Nothing is further from the truth or 'scientific method'. Breakthroughs in science often come from outsiders, reviled by contemporaries, for opining that the sun is the center the universe.

What is dangerous about Tyson (and his cadres), is that he is viewed as a voice for pop-culture science. When deGrass, or some Oscar nominee, advises us to take 'boosters'—people listen. If they propagandize in favor of an administration hell-bent on one-world government—people listen. If they want to get Trump—people again listen.

Consensus ('collective') proponents, have been institutionalized such that they are unaware, almost entirely, about virus data, 'vaccine' averse reactions, or consequences for the lockdowns. Also, they are ignorant about 'sound money'/Bill of Rights/Ukraine.

'Consensus plebs (possessing little self-worth as individuals), do not understand that what passes as 'accepted science consensus', whether pertaining to politics, economics, or medicine, has been taken over by a 'consensus tyranny'. They don't get it that any curiosity they had is usurped by 'power brokers', who are also institutionalized.

When it is uttered that individual researchers/scientists do not matter—that only the 'consensus matters'—that includes American citizens—that individually don't matter.

Every tyranny is a process of political encroachment, where power is transferred by coercion, then by force, from the individual to the state. Within that process, intelligence agencies, courts, representative bodies, along with the media, function as peer —reviewed' institutions—wherein they speak ill with one falsified, disingenuous voice.

With that groundwork let's have a look at the DT indictment. Political prosecution in the US is illegal. Repetitious, 'stacked' indictments need tossed. The prosecutor ran on a platform to get Trump—that's political As an aside, 40 undercover cops—allegedly were involved in the January 6th, 'Senate walkthrough'? If so, 40 cops serves as a reminder that the FBI (government) is allegedly guilty of 'rigging' the last 2 elections.

What is Trump being charged with? 'Election fraud', which Trump has to be found guilty of—just for it to be a misdemeanor. What has to have happened for Trump to have committed a crime? Under 'due process' Trump needed to have made ledger entries (for legal fees), himself—knowing it to be illegal. If he made the entries himself (of course he did not), and council informed him it was legal, he is innocent under the law.

He had to willingly break the law, but 'Citizen's United' allows individuals to spend as much of their own money on campaigns as they wish. Trump could only be guilty of breaking election law if the ledger payments (he entered himself), were made to his 'political action committee'—not for 'a purpose'—'but the purpose'. But since Trump had other purposes: as in his wife finding yet another perfidy in their marriage, as well as Trump's hotels and TV show being his own 'brand', he had 'purposes' for any occasion.

The fees in the ledger needed to be direct contribution to the campaign, and it be the sole purpose. 'Legal fees' cannot be a contribution to a political campaign. Even if it were a political contribution, 'purpose' has to be the sole purpose, and it must be proved that Trump entered into 'false accounting' with an intent to defraud a 3rd party.

What about Trump's lawyer, Cohen (more proof that Trump is a lousy judge of character). Cohen was the 'fix-it guy'. Did Trump tell him to play off a 'porn star'? As fix-it man, did he do it on his own and then get reimbursed by Trump for legal fees. Prove it.

Did Cohen take it upon himself to make the payoff so as to secure a job in the Trump administration? Who knows? Is Cohen a social climber in pursuit of the Cohen brand?

Here's a couple more things to consider: Purportedly, neither in the State of New York nor in the United States has anyone been prosecuted for paying legal fees. And what about the charges? Everything Trump is being charged with happened in 2017. Wasn't the election cycle in 2015/2016? If so, how can Trump be charged 'out of time'?

Was the 'grand jury' instructed that this cannot be a felony, or was it the prosecutor's goal to get Trump charged even if the charges proved a charade, to cast an implication Trump committed election fraud? 'Even if there were a charge that could support the prosecution or the defense, (there is not), the 'rule of lenity' (also called rule of strict construction), is a criminal law principle stating that when a law is unclear or ambiguous, the court should apply it in the way that is most favorable to the defendant, or to construe the statute against the state.' Lenity is the last 'coffin nail' in this malfeasance.

The 'left' is hoping to 'float this boat' on a 'friendly, New York Sea'. But, with the world regarding the US and the dollar as having attained 'sad joke' status, the prosecution's ill-thought-out misadventure, has a more likely outcome: sending Donald Trump back into the 'Oval Office'. Even of he were forced to conduct a presidency from behind bars. The gods likely see 'as more fitting' humor'—a 2nd term President Donald Trump.

Trump’s ‘crying’ court staff claim is ‘absolute BS’ say law enforcement

Story by Graeme Massie • Yesterday 1:42 PM

Donald Trump’s bizarre claim that New York court staff were “crying” when he was arrested and arraigned is “absolute BS”, according to a report.

The one-term president, who pleaded not guilty to 34 charges of falsifying business documents connected to hush money payments, has been widely mocked for the boast made to Tucker Carlson in a Fox News interview on Tuesday night.

But a law enforcement source told Yahoo!News that there was “zero” truth to Mr Trump’s story and called it “absolute BS.”

I would think it gets really old and tiresome after awhile. Constantly fighting against the stubborn facts.

Donald Trump on Wednesday filed a $500 million lawsuit against his former personal lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen, a week after the former president was indicted over a hush money payment Cohen facilitated to porn star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 presidential election.

Cohen testified before the Manhattan grand jury that indicted Trump on 34 criminal charges of falsifying business records and may be a key witness in the criminal trial. Trump, who pleaded not guilty, has denied involvement in the scheme.

New BOMBSHELL Evidence Blows Up Alvin Bragg’s Case Against Trump

On Friday evening, Real Clear Investigations Senior Reporter Paul Sperry revealed new evidence against Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D) in the current indictment against 45th President and leading Republican presidential candidate Donald J. Trump.

Sperry forwarded that DA Bragg currently has exculpatory evidence that would undermine his entire case given that it is built around the idea that Trump paid adult film “star” Stormy Daniels $130,000 in order to aid his 2016 campaign.

The reporter asserts, however, that this evidence shows that Trump did not intent to pay Daniels prior to Election Day 2016.

“Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg possesses exculpatory evidence showing Donald Trump did NOT INTEND to pay Stormy Daniels alleged hush money BEFORE the 2016 election, undercutting the prosecutor’s felony case that Trump falsified 2017 repayment records to benefit his campaign,” Sperry wrote on Twitter.

(Reuters) - Former Trump Organization chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg was released from jail on Wednesday, according to New York City Department of Correction records.

Weisselberg was sent to New York's Rikers Island jail on January 10 for helping engineer a wide-ranging 15-year tax fraud scheme at former president Donald Trump's family business.

Sounds like Weisselberg got a pretty sweet plea bargain deal. 100 days served for evading taxes on $1.76 million of income.

pmbug? You realize these creeps are having an insider civil war different rules apply here correct? I wouldn't be surprised if one of these guys is exiled to Elba for a year as punishment. With a full staff taking care of things.

... You realize these creeps are having an insider civil war different rules apply here correct? ...

He got a sweet plea bargain deal on his personal tax evasion for testifying against the organization's larger tax crime. It's a fairly normal process in our judicial system to squeeze the little fish to get the bigger fish.

He got a super sweet deal, beyond sweet almost like a "we're sorry we had to do this" sweet. And that bigger fish? Exiled to Elba for a year at worst. JMHO

From the news report:

As part of his plea deal, Weisselberg testified at last year's trial of the Trump Organization, which also was charged with the tax fraud scheme. The company was found guilty and fined $1.6 million, the maximum allowed.

Bragg Caves to Jordan; Pomerantz to Appear for Deposition in May

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg withdrew his appeal Friday in a case against Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) and instead agreed to allow the congressman to question a former prosecutor from Bragg’s office, averting what could have become a drawn-out legal process.

The agreement between the pair permits the House Judiciary Committee, of which Jordan is chairman, to hold a deposition with Mark Pomerantz on May 12, as well as allows Bragg to send one lawyer to accompany Pomerantz for the purpose of objecting to privileged information during it, according to a source with direct knowledge of the matter.

Bragg had filed a lawsuit against Jordan this month seeking to prevent Jordan from enforcing a subpoena against Pomerantz, who resigned from Bragg’s office in February 2022 out of frustration that Bragg had not at the time wanted to pursue the investigation against Trump.

U.S. District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil ruled firmly in Jordan’s favor on Wednesday, determining that the Ohio Republican had a “valid legislative purpose” for wanting to question Pomerantz and that Pomerantz had to appear for his scheduled deposition on Thursday.

However, Bragg quickly appealed the decision, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit granted Bragg an administrative stay to give the court time to consider his appeal. The court had asked Bragg to file appeal paperwork by Friday and Jordan to file his response by Saturday.

In reaching the agreement, Jordan is able to continue his investigation into Bragg, who is pursuing a historic criminal case against former President Donald Trump.

Testimony in Trump rape accuser's civil trial starts, as Trump attacks claim

Story by Reuters • 59m ago

NEW YORK (Reuters) -Testimony began on Wednesday at the civil trial for a nearly 30-year-old rape claim against Donald Trump in Manhattan, where a former Elle magazine advice columnist accuses the former U.S. president of sexually assaulting her and then lying about it.

Judge Calls Trump’s Posts on Rape Case ‘Entirely Inappropriate’

After the former president called the trial of E. Jean Carroll’s allegation a scam, Judge Lewis Kaplan said he might be trying to influence the jury.

Apparently, she has a dress with splooge on it as 'proof'....

Trump offered his dna as evidence - judge refused it.

This is a fake trial.

Carroll had indicated in an October deposition that no one else was paying her legal fees and that she was “not sure about expenses.”

Earlier this month, Carroll’s lawyers disclosed to Trump’s team that Carroll “now recalls that at some point, her counsel secured additional funding from a nonprofit organization to offset certain expenses and legal fees.”

Billionaire Reid Hoffman, the co-founder of LinkedIn who has donated millions to Democrats and liberal causes, primarily funded that nonprofit, court documents show.

Dishonesty already. Michael Cohen deux.

*Note: Just posting this because it's an interesting read. WTF knows what's going to happen with all of the investigations?

The Coming Crisis Over Pardoning Donald Trump

Story by By Kimberly Wehle • 1h ago

Now that the criminal justice system has begun bringing charges against former President Donald Trump, it’s only a matter of time before he gets convicted of something, somewhere. And as soon as that happens, the next question to face our political system is, will he be pardoned?

The answer is more complicated, and surprising, than you might think. There are three ways Trump could be pardoned: by a state executive, by the current president or by himself.

E. Jean Carroll’s Friend Testifies She Got a Call Describing Alleged Trump Attack

Story by Erik Larson • 31m ago

(Bloomberg) -- A close friend of writer E. Jean Carroll, who claims Donald Trump raped her in a dressing room in 1996, testified that Carroll called her within minutes of the alleged attack and described it in detail — a crucial piece of evidence in the civil suit against the former president.

Lisa Birnbach, an author known for her best-selling 1980 tome The Official Preppy Handbook, told a New York jury on Tuesday that Carroll called from her mobile phone and told her about the encounter she’d just had with Trump at the Bergdorf Goodman department store.

I have no idea if Trump did it or didn't do it but it certainly is possible he did. 1st he was a democrat for most of his life. 2) he was good friends with the Clintons. After his election he said he wasn't going after Hillary. Pre election made a huge stink about how corrupt she was and how she belonged in jail. After the election he comes out and says the Clintons are basically good people. Strange comment to make, when during the election, he brought 4 of the women that Bill raped to a televised debate with Bills wife. I'm sorry but you dont just shit on 1/2 the country that voted for you to rid the corruption in DC and just do a 180 and the only reason you give is the Clintons are basically good people? I dont buy it. I think they had or have something on him but like all the rest of our politicians with skeletons, we may never know what that was.

There are things in my mind that don't add up about Trump. Yes I think the left went after him pretty hard but I also think that was part of the illusion of todays politics.
So I have to ask myself this. Hows does a guy get to be a billionaire and have 500 companies to his name but then gets to DC and cant make the correct decision about any of his appointments? It's as if he was given just enough slack to create the illusion that he was on the red team without actually getting a whole lot done in 4 years.

Awoman testified on Tuesday that Donald Trump molested her with what seemed like "40 zillion hands" on an airline flight in the late 1970s - years before writer E Jean Carroll says the former president sexually assaulted her at a Manhattan department store.

Meanwhile, Trump's lawyer said the former president has decided against testifying, answering the biggest outstanding question about the closely watched case. Trump has given sworn deposition testimony, and excerpts could be played for the jury.

Hilarious how this Carroll women dresses up for her court appearances looking all ethical. Not buying it.
