On Tuesday, Chinese Communist President Xi Jinping declared his country will focus on preparing for war.

“China is preparing for war, its President Xi Jinping is reported as saying,” Express reported. “The communist leader cited security concerns, saying that it was ‘increasingly unstable and uncertain.’”

Andre´ talks about the bombing of the Kherson dam. Keeping troops there would be a strategic error.

The Roundtable #34: The Kherson Withdrawal, with Brian Berletic, Andrei Martyanov

Russian authorities forcibly transferred and deported civilians from occupied areas of Ukraine in what amounted to war crimes and likely crimes against humanity, Amnesty International said in a new report published today.

The report, “Like a Prison Convoy”: Russia’s Unlawful Transfer of Civilians in Ukraine and Abuses During ‘Filtration’, details how Russian and Russian-controlled forces forcibly transferred civilians from occupied Ukraine further into Russian-controlled areas or into Russia. Children have been separated from their families during the process, in violation of international humanitarian law.

Civilians told Amnesty International how they were forced through abusive screening processes – known as ‘filtration’ – which sometimes resulted in arbitrary detention, torture, and other ill-treatment.
...
Amnesty International documented cases in which members of specific groups – including children, older people and people with disabilities – were forcibly transferred to other Russian-occupied areas or unlawfully deported to Russia. In one case, a woman was separated from her 11-year-old son during filtration, detained, and not reunited with him, in clear violation of international humanitarian law.

The New Candidate Countries For BRICS Expansion

a couple excerpts:

If accepted, the new proposed BRICS members would create an entity with a GDP 30% larger than the United States, over 50% of the global population and in control of 60% of global gas reserves.
In total, the BRICS grouping as it currently stands accounts for over 40% of the global population and nearly a quarter of the world’s GDP. The GDP figure is expected to double to 50% of global GDP by 2030. Expanding BRICS will immediately accelerate that process.

I'm getting to the point that believing anything from western media is a mistake.

Apparently, only Russia can commit war crimes?

I'm waiting for the book, and then the movie.

Meanwhile it's almost like what the US did right here forcing businesses to close and shutting down normal civilian activities for a fake plannedemic.

Would that be considered a war crime, or does war have to be declared? It sure felt like a war.

So he obviously has no fear of saying what he feels. That's freedom of speech. Perhaps he's mocking all the folks who say, "Putin Bad!"

Or did they kill/imprison this person after he went off camera?

Inquiring minds want to know.
.
It appears he is more free to speak his mind than some folks on this forum are.
Now that's a freaking joke!

Amnesty International has actually taken a lot of flak for being Putin's useful idiot. One example:

There is a jail full of them in D.C..
Rounded up from around the nation.
You can't hear them because your ears are closed.

There is no hidden space behind White Castle by design.
You have the right to free speech as long as you don't actually try it........

i should start a Thread on Who Has the Best Hamburgers

Dick’s would be on that list.

Would being 'canceled' be considered 'jailed'?
If we are engaged in an intellectually honest conversation about an apples to apples comparison, we are talking about the government (not any private enterprise) threatening (and acting) on jailing folks for expressing opinions in public that are contrary to government edict. Note that this is about chilling political speech. Incitements to riots or violence is not an apple in this conversation.

An intellectually honest discussion would start with knowing that those jailed were not rioting, but peacefully protesting.

Anyone who has been following Jan 6 knows that it was a set up by the PTB to make it 'appear' otherwise.

Not sure where the thread drift started.

Are you referring to the "mostly peaceful" protests. Those weren't incitement to violence. They were violence. But mostly peaceful, so OK.

Were people arrested for making public statements against government edict? What were the statements they are being prosecuted for making? What government edict did they violate?

I posted an example of a Russian talk show host lamenting the fact that he was caught in a Catch-22 preventing him from making a public statement or face jail because the government prohibited speech for either option. Show me one example where something similar has occurred here in the USA.

like a fetus in california but an unborn child in Florida
The pro-abortionists would prefer to use the term "clump of cells", as opposed to fetus. Because the word "fetus" conjers up too many baby-like images for people. They want it to be seen as being akin to a tumor.

Here is a bit of history. Too bad they equate the USSR with Russia today.
