Sure buddy... how many of these "for sure" gotchas have we been through now? Too many for me to care, I know that.

If Trump cannot get a lawyer because State Bars are threatening lawyers who might take him as a client...can he request a dismissal because he cannot obtain counsel, and because State legal boards are interfering with his exercising a legal defense?

Judge just set trial date for Aug 14, 2023. Certainly going to be delays, but I'm thinking the trial will be over before the end of the year. In the meantime, I expect Trump (and cohorts) to be indicted for both Jan 6 and Georgia phone calls pretty damn quick.

I’m waiting for some hot babe to be brought into the story like Fawn Hall in that Iran/contra drama series back in the eighties. Until then color me bored.
Chatter on the web is Hope Hicks might be a witness in this case.

Special Counsel Jack Smith gives Trump preview of evidence against him, and Trump blows a gasket!

Jun 22, 2023

9:19

Special Counsel Jack Smith just delivered to Donald Trump's criminal defense attorneys a letter detailing some of the evidence that will be introduced against him at his classified documents/obstruction of justice/espionage trial. The discovery letter indicates that Trump's attorneys were given all of the grand jury transcripts of the people who will testify as prosecution witnesses at trial. This is the first time Trump got to see who testified against him in the grand jury and what they said.

Seems things just got very real for Trump, and he blew a gasket, as can be seen from an extended, all-caps post, expressly begging "CONGRESS" to "STOP THEM (the prosecutors) NOW!"

^^^^^^^
I don't get it. Why does a self-proclaimed, very stable genus, who knows more about war than any general, constantly need other people to help him? Why does a billionaire constantly have to beg for money? WTF??????????

Will somebody please tell Trump to be patient and trust the plan patriots are in control!

It's been what? 7 years? 8? and they're still trying to defeat him going so far as to make shit up over and over and over?

If they truly had something, anything factual at all this would be over and done with. That they have to go to such great lengths tells you they're grasping at straws.

The real question everyone should be asking is "Why?"

If they truly were in control, we'd never have heard about 10% for the Big Guy, nor $5M for Joe and $5M for Hunter.

"Something" is going on behind the scenes and I think it's

Special counsel Jack Smith requests delay in Trump classified documents trial

Special counsel Jack Smith has requested a delay in the classified and sensitive documents trial of former President Trump from August to December.

Smith on Friday filed a request for the start date for the trial be set for Dec. 11, which would be about four months after the initial Aug. 14 date that Judge Aileen Cannon set on Tuesday.

^^^ that's because it helps the dems more if the trial happens during the campaign.

Looks like CNN got ahold of the tape that's going to be used as evidence during the trial (if there is one) and released it. In this vid Rachel Maddow (MSNBC) shares it with commentary.

Hear audio of Trump discussing classified documents published by CNN

CNN reports it has obtained the audio of the 2021 meeting at Donald Trump's Bedminster club at which Trump makes it seem as though he is sharing secret information that he is aware he cannot declassify as an ex-president. Rachel Maddow shares key pieces of that audio, including some that was not included in the portion transcribed in Trump's indictment. The Rachel Maddow Show has reached out to Trump's legal team and campaign for comment but so far we have heard nothing back.

Donald Trump's Co-Defendant Walt Nauta Loses Florida Attorney Over Payment Dispute, Postpones Arraignment

Donald Trump's personal aide and co-defendant Walt Nauta lost his top choice of legal counsel in Florida due to a payment dispute, which resulted in his federal arraignment being delayed for a second time, RadarOnline.com has learned.

In early June, Nauta appeared alongside Trump in Miami, Florida, where they were arrested on charges related to the Justice Department's missing classified documents probe.

While Trump completed his arraignment process, Nauta's lack of legal representation prevented him from entering a plea in his arraignment, which was subsequently pushed to June 27.

That'll just add fuel to the ultra-lefttard dems who are chomping at the bit to load the SC with their Justices. "How dare the court side with orange man bad! If we don't get our way, it's not right!" lol

Trump Uses Panama Dictator to Delay Trial

Attorneys for Donald Trump invoked the notorious Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega in an effort to delay their client's federal trial on charges stemming from Trump's alleged mishandling of classified materials after his presidency.

In a Monday legal filing with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, lawyers for Trump and his aide Walt Nauta asked Judge Aileen Cannon to deny Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith's efforts to have the case heard until "after substantive motions have been presented and adjudicated."

Lawrence: Trump lawyers just told a Trumpian lie to espionage case judge

Jul 12, 2023

MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell analyzes the first major filing from Donald Trump’s lawyers in Special Counsel Jack Smith’s classified documents case, which includes the lie that the former president is being prosecuted by President Biden.

You know, I think its entirely Legally possible (and happening) that we currently have Two Presidents. They have continued with the charade and Biden (or his hapwit actors) are still the President, but their legality has been limited to what it always should have been, the corporation of DC.

Trump is probably President of America, not sure legally what number that might make him.

The one thing that might prove or dis-prove this theory... Has Trump even once set foot on the territory of Washington DC since say Jan 20, 2020?

Trump had his chance when he was in office. He failed to take down the swamp and now they are gunning for him 1000%. Even Martin thinks he will end up in prison.
The bigger problem for me is the fact that the left has gotten away with so much to include prosecuting the opposition. Sadly, it's game over for the US. Someone would write a book on how everyone on the right just stood by and watched it happen and at the same time believing some anonymous BS about some great plan. Grown ass adults believing in some thing called Q. Fighting with others on the inter webs about how much truth their is to it when in fact every part of it falls apart eventually.
The left are the only ones winning in any of this. This country and 1/2 the people in it have gone insane. The other 1/2 are just sitting by and laughing as it's happening.
Anyway, once they take Trump out the full court press will be on to silence any opposition. Freedom of speech will die and we might as well have only 1 person running for President every election. The left will never lose another election either. You heard it here 1st.

Well, they say that if you go to kill the King that you'd better succeed.
....and in the lead up to his '16 victory, Trump's swamp draining talk was seen by them as him saying he's gonna kill the King.

The ones on the left are blind to that, as all they see is that they should always get their way, no matter the cost to the nation.

Imho, they should seek to create their own new nation. Because they don't even like the US Constitution. They want to Enact laws that obviously violate it and they hate it whenever a SC decision applies the Constitution in anything close to an Originalist interpretation.
Their glam boy in California openly admitted that their intent is to change the Constitution so it allows for their radical ideas on disarming the People and allowing for discrimination based on race.

these people take an oath to protect preserve and defend the Constitution, but then immediately attack it.
Why tf they even want to be a part of it?

What are you proposing we should have done? Organize and march on DC? Ie: give them ample opportunity to infiltrate, disrupt, and Trump up charges against us?

and at the same time believing some anonymous BS about some great plan. Grown ass adults believing in some thing called Q.
Not everyone on the Right believed in that stuff. Did you? Are you on the Right?
I didn't, and I am, and I ain't the only one.

The left are the only ones winning in any of this. This country and 1/2 the people in it have gone insane. T
Because approx two thirds of the people accept whatever someone they see as an authority, tells them to accept.
....and "the left" took over loooong ago. Our parents and grandparents voted 'em into office over and over again for Decades on end. At least for the past Centuary or so. That gave 'em plenty of time to create the greased machine we see 'em running today.

The other 1/2 are just sitting by and laughing as it's happening.
Again, what else is there to do?

Are you volunteering to lead the charge?

The only election they've lost in the past at least 60 years was in '16.
.....and boy doggy, were they po'd.

Donald Trump faces new charges in the Mar-a-Lago classified documents case. Here's what to know

New charges — and a new defendant — added to the classified documents case against former President Donald Trump underscore how the Mar-a-Lago investigation is still very much ongoing, even as the focus has been on an expected indictment in a separate case related to the 2020 election.

In an updated indictment handed down Thursday, prosecutors allege that Trump asked a staffer to delete camera footage at his Florida estate in an effort to obstruct the federal investigation into his possession of classified documents.

The indictment includes new counts of obstruction and willful retention of national defense information. Prosecutors also added a third defendant to the case: Mar-a-Lago property manager Carlos De Oliveira, who they say schemed with Trump and his valet, Walt Nauta, to conceal the footage from investigators.

Trump accused of asking staffer to delete camera footage in Florida classified documents case

WASHINGTON (AP) — Former President Donald Trump faced new charges Thursday in a case accusing him of illegally possessing classified documents, with prosecutors alleging that he asked a staffer to delete camera footage at his Florida estate in an effort to obstruct a federal investigation into the records.

The new indictment includes extra charges of obstruction and willful retention of national defense information, adding fresh detail to a criminal case issued last month against Trump and a close aide.
