Legislation Introduced in Virginia to Keep Gold and Silver Tax Free

Virginia currently exempts precious metals purchases from state sales tax, however this exemption is set to expire in June of this year. House Bill 2336 aims to extend the current law on gold and silver.

With an overwhelming majority, the Wyoming state senate has voted favorably on legislation that would establish a stockpile of gold for the Cowboy State.

Please repeal the sales tax on gold and Silver precious metals. I realize that tax applies to amounts less than $500, but we should not tax at any amount.
