This video is regarding the Donald Trump Rally of July 13th, 2024 in Butler Pennsylvania. Thomas Matthew Crooks fired and Donald Trump wounding his ear. 1 individual was killed and two other wounded.17

Five weeks since the first attempted assassination of a current or former president in over 40 years, the public still has precious few answers about 20-year-old gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks.
Since his identity became known, the FBI and members of Congress have been trying to piece together a motive, scrutinizing every aspect of his life both online and off.
Even in his hometown of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, a quiet suburb of Pittsburgh, neighbors say the Crooks family was always an enigma — and continues to be.
“Everybody around here knows each other, but no one knows them,” said Karen, 77, who lives on the same street as the Crookses and asked that her last name not be used.
“You can ask anybody on this street, they barely know these people. I didn’t even know their names.”
When federal authorities raided his family’s modest home in the wake of the shooting, agents seized hardware including his laptop, two cellphones and multiple hard drives and flash drives.
The large amount of data recovered (around 4.5 terabytes) is a potential technological treasure trove for forensics teams, but authorities said getting definitive answers has been slow going due to the sheer volume of information to sift through.
However, it’s clear from congressional hearings — and the details that have emerged from FBI briefings with lawmakers — that investigators still have no satisfying answers for why Crooks targeted Trump.

The parents of Trump shooter Thomas Crooks have hired a team of powerhouse attorneys as the FBI continues to investigate just how much they knew ahead of their son's assassination attempt on the former president, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.
The development comes as one family member shared with DailyMail.com that the FBI, 'still very much has questions' regarding how much the killer's parents knew – while revealing that his father Matthew Crooks, 53, is a gun enthusiast who has sold firearms to relatives in the past.
Speaking to DailyMail.com, the family member who asked not to be named said, 'The FBI still very much has questions about how much they knew and how he [Thomas] slipped through the net.'
The idea that someone may have assisted Thomas Crooks was given new credence on Thursday by Florida US Rep. Mike Waltz. In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com he questioned whether the 20-year-old acted alone.
The parents' choice of law firm suggests that they are bracing for possible criminal charges as well as potential civil action from the families of their son's other victims.
Quinn Logue, the Pittsburgh-based law firm that Matthew Crooks and his wife Mary, 53, have retained, describe themselves as trial attorneys who specialize in both criminal defense and civil suits including wrongful death and personal injury.

Intriguingly it has emerged that he searched online for information on Michigan mass-shooter Ethan Crumbley and his parents.
Jennifer and James Crumbley were both found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in a landmark case which saw them deemed culpable for failing to act on clear signs that their 15-year-old son was plotting the 2021 High School shooting in which he killed four classmates.

A SWAT counter-sniper who was working the Trump rally in Pennsylvania where a gunman opened fire has issued a damning verdict on the FBI's alleged evidence tampering.
Washington Regional SWAT counter-sniper Ben Shaffer admitted that it was 'absolutely' concerning that the roof of the AGR International building where gunman Thomas Matthew Crook, 20, was cleaned quickly after the July 13 assassination attempt.
He also agreed with Republican lawmakers that it was suspicious that Crooks' body was disposed of before an official autopsy could be released at a panel discussion hosted by the Heritage Foundation on Monday.
Shaffer then went on to acknowledge that Crooks should have been elevated from a 'person of interest' to someone 'who would have warranted some type of investigatory detention' by agents because he was using a range finder.

Republican leading investigation into Trump assassination attempt says campaign was part of the problem
Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) asserted the Trump campaign dismissed his unease before the rally at which the former president survived an attempted assassination.Kelly heads the bipartisan congressional commission investigating security failures that enabled a gunman to open fire on Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump during a Pennsylvania rally last month.
"I made a statement [to the campaign] when they first told me that,” Kelly said as he remembered his reaction to the Trump campaign’s decision to hold the rally at a Butler County location in his home district.
