After reading the story she told I am still not convinced either way. She is a writer and I would imagine she can tell a pretty good story. I also don't see trump as some serial rapist that couldn't control himself around a women. He also doesn't drink so this wasn't some drunken act of almost rape.
Apparently she was fine with the incident, if there was one, from the late 70's until now but now she decided to press charges?40 years later?

FULL VIDEO: Trump deposition in E. Jean Carroll rape trial

May 5, 2023

The full video of a deposition given by former president Donald Trump as part of his civil rape trial has been released. In the video, Trump calls his accuser, writer E. Jean Carroll a “nut job” and “mentally sick.” At one point, he also mistakes Carroll for his ex-wife Marla Maples in a photo.

This was leaked.
Listen to how CNN attempts to portray him as 'agitated'... attempting to color the viewer's perception on what they're witnessing. Only a nonthinking democrat would believe what they're being told by the reporter. (And I'm registered independent!)

Video of Trump’s deposition in E. Jean Carroll trial released to the public

The video deposition of Donald Trump played before the jury in the E. Jean Carroll civil battery and defamation trial was made public Friday, showing the former president discussing the accusations against him, the “Access Hollywood” tape and the Russia “hoax.”

The edited deposition runs for nearly an hour. Trump was interviewed in October 2022.

E. Jean Carroll and Donald Trump rest their cases in civil rape trial, but Trump could still testify
In the video, Trump confirms that he made the allegedly defamatory statements denying knowing Carroll, calling her allegations that he raped her in a Bergdorf Goodman’s dressing room in the mid-1990s a “hoax,” and saying she is not his type.

BREAKING: Trump Put Under A GAG ORDER By New York Judge

New York Judge Juan Merchan has officially placed a gag order on the 45th President of the United States Donald J. Trump, forbidding him from posting about the ongoing criminal case in which District Attorney Alvin Bragg is conducting a partisan prosecution of the Republican presidential front-runner.

The judge has barred Trump from "making public evidence and other material related to a pending criminal case against him in New York," according to reporting from CNBC. Trump is also forbidden from having access to any evidence against him except in the presence of his attorneys and is not permitted to copy any of the material.

According to the outlet, in the prosecution's motion calling for the order, assistant District Attorney Catherine McCaw wrote,
Merchan wrote in his order that all material provided to Trump's lawyers "shall be used solely for the purposes of preparing a defense in this matter," per CNBC. "Any person who receives the Covered Materials shall not copy, disseminate, or disclose the Covered Materials, in any form or by any means, to any third party," the order continued in theory making any news outlet that publishes information released by Trump subject to prosecution.

Kyle Becker of the 'Relentless' podcast observed in a tweet,

"In a first in U.S. history, a presidential candidate will be forbidden to defend himself during an election campaign."
The situation lends itself now for a convincing case to be made for an election interference charge to be made against DA Bragg and Judge Merchan.

Jury out 3 hours and reached a verdict.

He didn't rape her; but he did act like a douchebag toward her.
Makes sense. Consistent with how Trump acts in general.

Acting like a douchebag isn't a crime....

There would be many guilty folks right here on this site if that were the case....!

A judge ordered former President Donald Trump to appear virtually for a May 23 hearing in his Manhattan criminal case after previously setting rules preventing him from using evidence to attack witnesses, The Associated Press reports.

Judge Juan Manuel Merchan added the video hearing to the calendar on Thursday, aiming to review the restrictions with the GOP frontrunner, his lawyers and prosecutors, and ensure that Trump understands he risks being held in contempt of court if he violates them.

"We'll set up the camera for Mr. Trump to appear wherever he is at that time and we'll do it here in the courtroom virtually," Merchan said.

E. Jean Carroll is considering whether to file a new defamation lawsuit against former President Donald Trump in the wake of his diatribe mocking her during a controversial CNN town hall earlier this week.

Carroll’s lawyer told the New York Times on Thursday that her client is considering suing Trump again over his comments at the town hall the day before. The former president lashed out, calling Carroll a “wack job” and the civil trial — in which a jury found him liable for sexual abuse and defamation — a “rigged deal.”

E. Jean Carroll adds Trump's post-verdict remarks to defamation case, seeks at least $10M

NEW YORK (AP) — E. Jean Carroll, the advice columnist who won a $5 million sexual abuse and defamation award against former President Donald Trump, is seeking at least $10 million more in a court filing Monday that seeks to hold him liable for remarks he made after the verdict.

The amended lawsuit was filed in Manhattan by Carroll's lawyers, who said Trump “doubled down” on derogatory remarks about the former Elle magazine columnist during a cable television appearance a day after the verdict.

A New York City judge has set a trial date of March 25, 2024, for former President Donald Trump's criminal trial on charges of falsifying business records.

The former president appeared, virtually, in a Manhattan court Tuesday before the judge presiding over his criminal case.

Trump, sitting side-by-side with his attorney Todd Blanche, his hands folded on the table, scowled into the camera when Judge Juan Merchan announced the trial date, possibly because the date conflicts with the GOP primary calendar as Trump seeks to reclaim the presidency.

You know what that's about?

I think they're DARING him to pardon himself.

That's how the Left works. They're daring Putin to launch nuclear Armageddon. They're daring Deplorables to shoot back, as they riot, torch and kill in urban districts. Now they're daring Trump to do something that the Dumbos can run with, to Impeach.

I don't think they need to even try. Other parts of the Dumbo Army, have got Dominion at the ready. And, just as they found that Sri Lankan who was turned into a White Supremicist with a Nazi flag in a Y'all-Haul...other parts of the Deep State are running their SNPERS WANTED ads on the Dark Web.

Santa Fe resident John Eastman, accused of dishonesty in maneuvering to keep defeated candidate Donald Trump in the White House, says he’s surprised his career is in jeopardy.

Eastman faces a hearing next week in the State Bar Court of California on 11 charges of professional misconduct. He has been a licensed attorney in California since December of 1997, and at age 63, he’s still practicing law.

The latest chapter of accountability for the bloody Jan. 6 riot is playing out in a quiet California courtroom, where disgraced law school professor John Eastman is going through a disbarment hearing over his role fueling former President Donald Trump’s belief that he could disregard the 2020 election and remain in power.

At issue is whether lawyers can claim they’re “just doing their job.” In Eastman’s case, that means actively playing along with a plot to damage American democracy by giving dubious advice to one of the world’s most difficult legal clients: Donald J. Trump.

One week into defending himself from an 11-count disciplinary charge filed in January, things aren’t looking good for Eastman.

The Justice Department on Tuesday said that Donald Trump can be held personally liable for remarks he made about a woman who accused him of rape — a reversal of its position that Trump was protected because he was president when he made the remarks.

Michigan charges 16 fake electors for Donald Trump with election law and forgery felonies

LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Michigan’s attorney general filed felony charges Tuesday against 16 Republicans who acted as fake electors for then-President Donald Trump in 2020, accusing them of submitting false certificates confirming they were legitimate electors despite Joe Biden’s victory in the state.

Attorney General Dana Nessel, a Democrat, announced Tuesday that all 16 people would face eight criminal charges, including forgery and conspiracy to commit election forgery, which range from a potential five to 14 years in prison each.

The group includes the head of the Republican National Committee’s chapter in Michigan, Kathy Berden, as well as the former co-chair of the Michigan Republican Party, Meshawn Maddock, and Shelby Township Clerk Stan Grot.

That's impossible. These were perfectly fair elections and fraud is not possible.

Electors are elected to vote. Where is the fraud?

Where is the fraud?

They weren't the real electors as far as I understand. Will be interesting to see the outcome. BTW..............did you hear that Trump received a target letter from Jack Smith? I think he'll be indicted in the next 2 weeks. I figure the Jan 6 indictment and the Georgia phone call indictment will be within days of each other.

Interesting times.............eh?

Trust the plan. Jeff Sessions has got this.

Federal Judge makes BLISTERING RULING against Trump in Major Case

Jul 19, 2023

Jul 19, 2023

Michael Popok of Legal AF reports on breaking news that the federal judge in the E. Jean Carroll defamation and assault case against Trump has found Trump’s attempt to throw out the jury verdict and reduce the $5 million dollar jury verdict to be frivolous and denied it, opening the door for a new sanctions motion by E. Jean Carroll.

They are all top Republicans. Some were elected officials. They had the audacity to ask where the bathrooms were?

So they held a "Legislative" session but just blocked Republicans from being allowed in.

Every party picks their own electors and the state does not have a clue or really ever care. This is just more evidence we have fallen into a Banana Republic or worse (Fascist) state.

False elector defendent says she was duped

The charges are making national headlines Wednesday, and video footage is at the center of it all. So-called "fake electors" tried to enter the State Capitol building in December 2020 and cast votes for former President Donald Trump.

Where are the charges for the democrats who overscanned fake ballots?
