  • Timothy Griffin of New York became the latest American to die in Ukraine while fighting in the war against Russia
  • At least seven other Americans have died on the frontlines of the war since it began in February
  • U.S. officials have repeatedly instructed Americans not to travel to Ukraine to join the war
  • Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Monday that global leaders need to pressure Moscow to consider 'genuine peace negotiations'
  • Reports indicate the Biden administration has told Zelensky it is time to signal an openness to negotiating the end of the war with Russia

Shoigu gave the order to withdraw troops for defense on the left bank of the Dnieper

Shoigu agreed with Surovikin's proposal to withdraw troops to the left bank of the Dnieper

MOSCOW, November 9 - RIA Novosti. Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu agreed with the proposal of the commander of the Joint Group of Russian Forces Sergei Surovikin to organize defense in the Kherson region on the left bank of the Dnieper.

“A comprehensive assessment of the current situation is proposed to take up defense along the left bank of the Dnieper River. I understand that this is a very difficult decision. In addition, part of the forces and means will be released, which will be used for active operations, including offensive ones, in other directions in the operation zone," Surovikin said.

He specified that "the maneuver of the troops will be carried out in the near future, formations and units will occupy defensive lines and positions prepared in engineering terms on the left bank of the Dnieper River."

"Kherson and adjacent settlements cannot be fully supplied and function, people's lives are constantly in danger," Surovikin said.

He stressed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue shelling the Kakhovka dam - this can provoke flooding, which will entail significant casualties. This threatens to isolate the troops on the right bank of the Dnieper if they are not withdrawn from there.

The commander also noted that the enemy is hitting local government facilities, schools, hospitals, and other socially significant facilities.
He added that more than 115,000 people were evacuated from the region.

Surovikin also added that Russian troops are successfully resisting enemy attacks along the entire line of contact. All attempts to attack the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kupyansky and Krasnolimansky directions have been thwarted. In the Donetsk direction, Russian units have completed the defeat of the enemy on the right bank of the Bakhmutka River, and in the South-Donetsk direction, the liberation of the settlement of Pavlovka is being completed.

Surovikin stressed that the combat capabilities of the united group had grown significantly, due to the mobilized it was possible to increase its composition and create reserves. The Ukrainian side suffers high losses in manpower and equipment.

Only in the Kherson direction of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from August to October lost:

  • more than 9.5 thousand killed and wounded;

  • more than 200 tanks;

  • 500 armored vehicles;

  • about 600 vehicles for various purposes;

  • more than 50 artillery pieces and mortars.
The losses of Russian troops in this direction are seven to eight times less than those of the enemy.

This is a revealing look into the history of Ukraine et al. The Transnational Elite...

Albania: From Soros to Blair—Dr Olsi Jazexhi (2018)

In the current outrage over boat people—very many of them Albanian—arriving on the south coast of England in dinghies with much official connivance, UK Column decided that it would be timely to remind the public of a 2018 presentation given to a British audience at the late Ian R Crane's Alternative View conference by an Albanian academic, Dr Olsi Jazexhi, who works at universities in both Albania and Canada.

Dr Jazexhi makes a solid case that the culpability for the waves of desperate migrants leaving his Balkan homeland rests squarely with Western globalists, particularly Britain's own Tony Blair and the London School of Economics-trained George Soros—firm friends of the Edi Rama régime in Tirana—for rendering large parts of the country practically uninhabitable through economic despoiling and the carving-out of abysmally badly-operated fracking concessions.

Two years after this presentation, Rama's administration gave the country one of the world's most inhumane Covid lockdowns, which—as Dr Jazexhi reported for 21st Century Wire—the Albanian population defeated by unyielding resistance.

Not trying to nit pik, but that don't look like no dinghy I've ever seen. Whoever wrote that article needs a lesson in boats. lol

I googled "dinghy" and not one of the pics look like that small ship in the article you posted.

It could be a translation error? Kind of appears to be an 'open boat with masts'....

️Scott Ritter, a military analyst and former US Marine Corps intelligence officer, tells Sputnik why the Russian MoD's decision to withdraw from parts of the Kherson region to the left bank of the Dnepr River was right.

“This is a decision that seemed to focus on preserving the lives of thousands of Russian soldiers over holding on to territory which has no intrinsic value in the short term. I think it was a just decision, one that was made based upon purely military objectives.”

Some people not guys here seem to be looking at this conflict like they would a football game or something. Every retreat doesn't mean Russia is losing. Ukraine and the West can't afford to see this go on for too much longer. Russia will obliterate US trops and their equipment if they move into Ukraine. Does the US actually believe they can control Odessa?

The Ukrainian lemonaide I bought was tasty and I want more. Gas, but not too much.
