FBI Blasts ‘Conspiracy Theorists’ Behind Twitter Files, Claim There’s Nothing To See In Communications​

The FBI released a statement on Wednesday responding to Elon Musk’s Twitter Files, blasting the journalists publishing the revelations as “conspiracy theorists.”

Fox News host Sandra Smith read the statement on America Reports on Wednesday. The statement follows the latest Twitter Files showing internal communications that reveal an alleged active relationship with government officials to promote propaganda accounts as part of “psyop” campaigns and suppressing the infamous Hunter Biden laptop story.

Twitter directly assisted in US military psy-ops​

"Despite promises to shut down covert state-run propaganda networks, Twitter docs show that the social media giant directly assisted the U.S. military’s influence operations."

An 8th round of Twitter Files were released on Tuesday, with a specific focus on Twitter's role in directly assisting the US military's influence operations. The files were broken down by journalist Lee Fang, who titled them "How Twitter Quietly Aided the Pentagon’s Covert Online PsyOp Campaign."

"Despite promises to shut down covert state-run propaganda networks, Twitter docs show that the social media giant directly assisted the U.S. military’s influence operations," Fang said.

@CNBC’s Twitter supposedly has 5 million followers
This video they just posted of Covid Pandemic says it has 544k views
Twitter’s new impressions counter only shows 9,028 people have seen this post
CNBC is paying for fake views on their videos

The video is embedded content. The number of views on the video are part of the embedded content. Ie. It's a viewcount tabulated by CNBC and likely totalling all views (including views from folks browsing the cnbc website or seeing the video embedded in other tweets or webpages).

Here is a running list of all Twitter Files releases through December 26th, 2022.

There have been 10 parts so far.

Five journalists have been given access to Twitter’s files related to censorship and government collusion by Elon Musk, and they have been releasing threaded reports of their investigations on Twitter - Matt Taibbi, Michael Shellenberger, Bari Weiss, Lee Fang, and David Zweig. (Using Twitter to expose Twitter, poetic!)
