Yep. It was bouncing around between $0.09 and $0.11 until very recently. Seems like every crypto follows BTC though and BTC is selling off at the moment. Good time to buy if you have a long term view IMO. $.02
 
I just noticed that my Edge Node software has updated to version 5.0.2 and now has a tab for Elite Booster nodes that includes some utilization metrics.

I was wondering why THETA/TFUEL seemed to be rallying a bit more than the overall crypto sector in the last few days...

Unfortunately, my old cell phone is not compatible. I think the app requires newer hardware with higher end processors than what I've got.

I installed the app on my phone and 15 jobs in rapid succession fired off. After that nothing for the past 36 hours.
 
My phone is apparently too old to run the android app, so I haven't tried it yet. Does the app work if the phone goes into 'sleep mode'? Maybe there is a configuration setting that needs to be adjusted either in the app or the OS. I'd send a note to the Theta tech support and ask them if I were you.
 
The app has two settings.
1) Run only when the phone is charging (on/off)
2) Run only when the phone is WIFI connected (on/off)

I have mine set to off and off, which means run all the time.
My phone doesn't sleep but the screen turns off.
 
PMbug how many TFuel tokens do you have, if you don't mind me asking?
 
I'm running 3 Elite Edge Nodes with roughly 30,200 TFUEL staked in total. I think I have around 1800 TFUEL not staked and somewhere in the neighborhood of 180 TFUEL pending the end of the month distribution for the Edge Node rewards.

Wow I have about 30 pending LOL.
 
Upgrading the Edge Node to an Elite Edge Node by staking 10k TFUEL to it makes a big difference. I've read that staking larger amounts (up to the max 50k) boosts the job rate/rewards even more, but I don't have first hand experience to corroborate that.

Did this ever get resolved?

My old phone died a few days ago and I went and got a new phone. I've installed the Edge Node for Mobile on my phone and set it to run only when it's charging and on a WiFi connection. I left my phone plugged in most of the time and from what I can see, my phone gets a flurry of jobs between 7pm and 4am more or less and maybe an odd job once in a while outside of that window. The Edge Node for Mobile jobs are all AI processing of video (identifying objects in video) and the job notes let me see the 2-3 second video clip that was processed which is interesting. The jobs don't pay much though - about 0.05 TFUEL/job.
 
It would seem to me that the power of the computer and internet connection should make more difference than how much TFuel you have "staked". A better computer can get more done. Does it appear to work this way or do both things make a difference?

If you go into settings you can turn off the "charging" and "WIFI" requirements. The jobs are processing but at a snail's pace.

I have not cashed out. I think Theta has a lot of potential to grow.

But if you want to cash out, you should be able to sell using Coinbase Wallet or some other offramp. I mostly use Coinbase.com (CB) as my offramp when I want to cash out a crypto position. CB doesn't allow direct trading of Theta so I would need to first need to trade the Theta for another crypto (probably USDC stablecoin) first and then cash out the trade pair.

Thanks, I have 3 computers and my phone running this app. I turned it off for about 6 months but have about 50 tokens. I am interested to see if the tokens get added to some wallet on the 1st-5th of the month as the documentation states.

Hey pmbug, should I stake my TFUEL? Any advice you can give me is appreciated. I have several other computers running this stuff also.

If you have 10,000 TFUEL on hand, yes! It makes a huge difference in both the frequency of jobs assigned and the amount of TFUEL/Lavita earned. I posted a chart showing the difference in reward payouts here:

Following the twitter conversation I had with ThetaNext (mentioned two posts up), I staked 10K TFUEL to the Edge Node I have running on the CUDA enabled GPU computer. ThetaNext wasn't kidding. That machine is getting a lot more jobs now and the payouts for each job are also higher.
